"We had a lovely Thai meal at the jolly farmer. The food was so hot when served, we actually had to let it cool a little before eating, this had not been sat on the pass getting cold at all, and was full of flavour. Generous portions and the waiting service was fantastic. Our waiter was able to answer all/any of our questions and was refreshingly knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients used. He was also very friendly and took the time to make general conversation with us and other tables which made us feel very welcome. All in all it was a lovely dining experience in a nicely decorated, clean pub. Unfortunately the weather was too cold to enjoy the beer garden which looks as though it is newly refurbished but from our experience on this visit, we will definitely return in the summer if not before to enjoy more food, drink and a pleasant atmosphere. Update Just popped in for a quick bite at lunch time and I'm happy to say that a year on from my last review and standards have not changed here. We have actually eaten here a few times over the past year and the staff are always friendly and the food is so flavourful, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. Fast becoming my restaurant of choice in the area."

Went for a mid-week recently as we had been recommended. The recommendation did not disappoint, the Thai food was AMAZING!
