"We decided to come here for dinner based on the reviews and the menu available on the website. First of all the pub was practically deserted but we were seated at a nice table by the fire. The menus were cheap and scuffed and a couple of items were actually unavailable (but staff were unaware of this until later). Saying we can 't find the whitebait just sounds so amatuer. The beer was good with a nice selection and staff were attentive. The main courses though were very below par and a number of the party were left feeling disappointed with their selection. My slow roasted pork belly lacked any kind of crunchy crackling on top and the gravy was very generic and bland. The less said about the seasonal vegetables the better."

We selected the “Kynn” on spec as we had not been there for over 30 years and we were most pleasantly surprised.

Our little local pub in Leighton had been radically improved since the arrival of Becky and Sean and chef Dan. A huge amount of effort went into organising yesterday’s family fun day and it was wonderful to see so much support from local people. Visualizza piatti

Our local village pub which has been transformed by the Becki and the team over the past few months. We have eaten here a few times over the last couple of months and the food is excellent, such a change from last year.We are so lucky to have such a great local pub, a real community asset

We tried the steak night! Superb value but with no skimping on quality. Both steaks cooked to perfection and the melt on top really added to the meal. Lovely chips too with skin on. Lovely to be able to eat too with our dog! Looking forward to coming back soon. Well done to the staff who are doing a great job with good old fashioned customer service. Visualizza piatti

Went for a meal which was fine and staff were very nice but we ordered two double gin and tonics and added it to the bill. When we came to pay we were charged £19:60 for the gins alone, totally overpriced and we were not made aware of the price of them at any point. Thought we had been charged 4 times over for them as it showed £4:80 twice for each double on the receipt. Spoke to staff obviously new owners policy. Total greed comes to mind for a country pub, it's a shame.

Popped into this lovely country pub on the way back from a day in Ironbridge, was pleased with the cosy atmosphere and open fire on arrival. Ordered 2 roasts as it was a Sunday, one beef and one lamb at an additional price, which is fine. Biggest slice of meat I have ever been served in my life, although the lamb was a little bit fatty, everything else was perfection. Roasties, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower cheese and even a Yorkshire and stuffing as standard as most places only serve Yorkshire's with a certain meat.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
