"On Christmas Day, my family of 5 did not receive the table we had been promised. My wife's prawn cocktail starter was poorly presented and looked like it had been thrown on the plate. Our 5 main turkey meals arrived 45 minutes later, drenched in gravy, and accompanied by burnt parsnips. The Yorkshire puddings were hard around the edges, the Christmas puddings were poorly presented, and the chocolate brownie was rock hard and uneatable. We spent 2 hours and 45 minutes in the restaurant, experiencing terrible service. The total cost, including drinks, was almost £300. We will definitely not be returning."

that's one of the worst pubs I've ever been, and I'd never go again. the prices for food are from this world and they do not have a children's menu.

I recently went to this restaurant for Christmas lunch and found that everything seemed a bit rushed. The vegetables tasted like they had been microwaved, and I had to remind the staff about my vegan dessert. The service was average, with a rating of 1 for the food quality, 4 for the service, and 5 for the atmosphere. The price per person for the lunch was between £50-£60.

During a previous visit in the summer, the food was generally good but the "dirty fries" were actually dirty and the garnish had a paper label attached. Our two dressed salads took a long time to arrive and when they did, they came without dressing. The waiter also forgot to provide us with cutlery to eat the salads. Despite these issues, we might visit again in the future, but would be hesitant to leave a tip until they show more competence.
