Five of us went for Tuesdays steak night. Not only amazing good value but the steak was absolutely delicious. Lovely friendly staff- we’ll be back

friendly pub in wincanton. we enjoyed our time there, although 4 stars instead of 5, because all Cask-Ale was not available and the kitchen was closed. Instead, they have taken indians for us what was very good. will return when the ale is available and the kitchen is open.

This was my fourth visit to this restaurant and my first time trying their Sunday roast. It was absolutely outstanding! The meal offered great value for money, the ambiance was delightful, and the staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this place. Ratings: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.

We frequently visit Wincanton and have often been to The Nog. We were delighted to discover that they now offer accommodation. We stayed for two nights, and the new rooms are very nice. We enjoyed excellent meals and a fantastic breakfast. The Nog is also a friendly local pub with a great atmosphere.

First time to go to the Nog Inn. No expectations at all. We were greeted in a nice and friendly way. Seated at a table near the cosy fireplace. We ordered our drinks and food. The food was good. I mean, really good. Taste, well cooked and well served. Definitely will go here again when visiting my friend in Wincanton.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the cozy ambiance of the inn, complete with a log burner and comfortable decor, makes it feel like a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and spacious, with thoughtful touches throughout. The full English breakfast is absolutely delightful. The staff is friendly and accommodating, helping us with our early arrival and arranging a taxi to the racecourse. Although the kitchen was closed on Sunday evening, we were notified in advance that we could bring in takeaways. The restaurant operates for the rest of the week. Overall, we had a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Rooms: 5

What a fantastic experience! We stayed here overnight on our way to Cornwall and couldn’t be happier with our choice. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the pub, where we both had their homemade burgers—absolutely delicious! We also tried a few pints of the local cider. The rooms are tucked away at the back of the pub along a small gravel path and are beautifully decorated. They come with complimentary toiletries and proper coffee—pure bliss! The breakfast was a highlight as well; I had the full English, which was truly delicious. Well done, Team Nog! It was a brilliant stay all around. Thank you!

Had a lovely stay at the Nogg in. Having spent the week travelling the south west we stayed at 6 different hotels/B B. The Nogg in was by far the most comfortable with a fantastic size shower equipped with plenty of fresh towels bathrobes. We stayed in room 2 which had a huge bed (not sure on size but bigger than king size). A big bonus was waking up to a coffee machine pods in the room. The room looked freshly decorated and no sign of mould anywhere in the bathroom. Larger TV than usual in hotels too. I would definitely recommend and will be staying there again when visiting family local to Wincanton. A real credit to the owners.
