"Everywhere nice and clean, our servers were all fantastic and very attentive, but the food definitely let the place down it was awful the roast dinner had the gravy all over the plate not served on the side it was far too salty, the burger had dried up coleslaw, the onion ring was a greasy stuck together mess,the cauliflower cheese tasted like plastic cheese,the pig in blanket tasted just awful,the chips had far too much salt on. Unfortunately it was that bad that we won't be going again.shame because the staff were lovely. Just the food let the whole night down"

Popped in for breakfast after a big night out in Chester. Went for my favorite Steak and Eggs. Can honestly say it's one of the best steak and egg breakfasts I have had. My friend went for a bacon and egg sandwich which was huge. We were greeted by Lee when we arrived and he was super friendly and the service was excellent.

Popped in the oak tree today 19/10/2023 with wife and kids after a visit to the countess of Chester. Never been before but had a lovely meal wich we all enjoyed. My 9 year old daughter was well happy to see steak on the kids menu and took no time in eating the lot lol we’re we’re waited on by two young people called Callum and Caitlin and they made us all feel very welcome. Defo recommend if your in the area
