The Old Pier Cafe - Menu

Coffee, cakes, sandwiches, sausage rolls and other baked goods. All very tasty, fresh and high quality. Busy but good service. Eat in (not a lot of room). Eat out or take away. Loaded baguettes and sausage rolls to die for.

We entered the restaurant and inquired about the vegan sausage roll, but they informed us that it was sold out. There were no vegan cakes on display, and when we asked about vegan ice cream, they only had Arran milk ice for sale.

Get there early and queue for opening, to save queuing as soon as they open. Food is absolutely worth the wait, must try the sausage rolls, and the home baking, and the ginger and fruit loaves with local stout. Absolutely worth the calories!

This is a lovely location with vegan options right at the Lamlash Pier, where you can catch the boat to Holy Island. They offer vegan soup, sandwiches, chocolate cake, ice cream, plant-based milk for drinks, and a delicious sweet potato and chutney roll that is absolutely to die for!

5-star café with excellent homemade sweet and hearty objects and a series of filled baguettes. we had apricot and almond fergipan carpets, beautiful and sticky with a crisp biscuit crust bakery. 2 excellent aroma latte in both decaffeinated and normal versions. can definitely recommend and we will return.

This tearoom is amazing. Our party of 6 adults plus 2 kids managed to squeeze in, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The choice for lunch was superb – I went for the “mac” boy slim and it was the most amazing mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted! I had an Ischler cookie afterwards, and it was exquisite. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal!

great coffeeshop. a must visit when on the island. service was amazing. personal was friendly they had milk that was good for vegan drinks. the cakes were also delicious. we had a chocolate brew that was the best if they like it we also had a chocolate and apricot cake and a smoked salmon sandwich. many options for hot and cold foods. Don't come too late because they're always busy!

if I could give six stars, I would! we had a takeout because there are 't many tables: cinnamon beung, apricot tea, and vegan butternut quesh and lenses 'sausage' roll! all were brilliant (obvily only baked because they were still warm). I can't decide whether the standout of the cimtbunke or the (very considerable) sausage roll was: unfortunately we have to catch a ferry tomorrow morning, so won't have time for a repetition!

excellent eating and personal very nice; good choice and good value for money: no complaining at all. the only thing that bothered me was that my very welcome tee, beautiful baguette and delicious cake were all served in one way take packaging, although I sat in. only wood, a use cutlery was also available. when you look at other people, it seems that everything is served in this disposable packaging, whether take away or not, which is unnecessarily wasted. all the packagings were characterized as compostable or recyclable and from responsible sources (good), but the container in the caffe was a black bag, so I fear that everything ends in landfill. not good!
