The restaurant greets you warmly with attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. The Sunday lunch was delicious with very generous portions. This was my third visit and it was consistently excellent.

A very average meal. Quite a long wait from giving our order to it arriving, small portions and very little veg. Not in a rush to go again. Oh, and don’t call customers in their 60s ‘guys’ . It’s disrespectful.

Went for a 50th and though I do not normally review, just had too.. Both the food and service was excepional.. Great staff, absolutely no complaints.. All more than accommodating for a party of 7.. Thoroughly enjoyable and we'll worth the visit..

My wife ordered sirloin steak. When it arrived, it bore no resemblance whatsoever to Sirloin. Asked to speak to the chef who refused. Didnt eat this chewy lump of beef, nor paid. This is the second occassion we have had poor food and poor service. Wont be eating there again

We visited on a quiet quiet, sunny Saturday. We were welcomed on arrival and the service was excellent throughout our visit. The food was so tasty, each part of it showing some creative flair from the chef. The drinks were cold and an explore of the outside space cemented that I’d be very lucky to have this as my local. Visited with friends for Sunday dinner and what a treat we had. Met by the friendly staff, a great choice of quality drinks on offer to suit all. Three of us had the beef diner and one had the pork. Has to be without a doubt the best Sunday dinner I’ve had out to date. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavour nice and tender. The giant yorkshire pudding topped it off. Sat and enjoyed a few beers in the sun trap beer garden afterwards. Highly recommended

I booked The Old School Inn for 14 people following my grandsons christening, I was not disappointed! Nicola the manager personally coordinated the booking making sure everything was right, my family had come over from Toronto so we needed everything to be perfect and it was, Nicola even came in on the day to make sure all was well, even though it was her day off! The food was brilliant, well worth every penny and nobody came away disappointed. Can’t wait for our next visit.

The Old School Inn in Epworth offers some of the best meals we've had in a while. Upon entering, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with lovely and attentive staff. We enjoyed drinks at the bar before being seated at our table. The waitress promptly brought us the menu, from which we ordered the silverside of beef and braised beef with onion. Both dishes came with generous portions and delicious sides like Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, and broccoli. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal, while I found mine to be too much to finish, despite its deliciousness. The prices were reasonable, totaling around £36 for the two of us.
