The Olive Tree - Piatti

Very nice coffee and cake but abrupt and unfriendly service. Plenty of other places offering similar food with friendlier service. Wouldn't rush back.

The staff here are on the go non stop to ensure a perfect visit for you , the food quality and quantity cannot be surpassed. We have had snacks and main meals here all to the same high standard

The food was average, unfortunately. The staff were pleasant. It was interesting to see how the tables were cleared promptly, but the man was walking around with hand sanitizer and a cloth without using it. You would expect hygiene to be a priority. Visualizza piatti

Go there sometimes for breakfast, although normally with a voucher. Gardeners breakfast is a bit pricey but you do get a good amount of food with excellent sausages. Bacon could do with a bit extra cooking sometimes to crisp up the fat, but that's just...my preference. Always leave there feeling stuffed

My husband and I regularly visit the Olive Tree cafe and find the service and food excellent. The breakfast is fabulous and the quiche is amazing and the best we’ve ever had. Tried the pizza yesterday and wow once again the best my husband has...tasted. Love visiting here, thank you to the manager Kris and his team

I recently dined at the Olive Tree at Busy Bee Garden Centre for Sunday lunch. I ordered the Roast Beef while my wife had the Roast Lamb. The dinners were excellent, with generous portions of delicious meat, tasty Roast Potatoes, vegetables, and a delightful Yorkshire Pudding with the Beef. We also enjoyed the delectable desserts. I would give it a 6-star rating if possible. I am already looking forward to returning next Sunday for another fantastic meal. The service was exceptional, and the value for money was excellent. My friend and I ended up here for late lunch/early tea as all local establishments were either closed or not serving food. We we’re very hungry and running late for an appointment so it seemed like a good idea at the time. Staff did not...seem happy in their work and couldn’t even manage a smile. We ordered cheese ploughman’s ham ploughman’s chips and coffees, the total cost for this was odd for very basic food. I was surprised that this was the case but the whole menu was the same for a bacon sandwich?! for a prawn baguette! Very extortionate for what you get. Just giving people the heads up on this as I myself thought it was ridiculous amounts of money for very little return.

I bought some felt pens in Busy Bee months ago only to find when I got home that they were all dried up. I took them back and was advised to get another pack to replace them with. When I did, I checked all...of the packs and couldn't find one that wasn't dried up. I told the man at customer services and was given a refund and assured that the rest of the packets would be removed. I was in there a few days later and noticed that the same packs were all still on the rack so I took them all up to the customer service desk and reminded the staff member of his assurance. months later they are back on the rack, still dried up of course. They now have stickers added to the packs advising potential...

Today we visited the olive tree restaurant, we had all decided to go there to have some breakfast and then do some shopping there also. We arrived at the restaurant at later than we would of liked but we were pacing out our day..., we asked for a breakfast and was told that we could not have one as the chef was no longer cooking them as he was in a mood, as he gets quite miserable with kitchen staff”, we were then told we could have a sandwich, bacon, which in paying was another shock as it costs it was on thin bread, and was like warm, not nice at all, I think if the chef there does not want to do his job properly then he should leave and give his job to someone that does want to work.
