"Nice little dog-friendly pub that manages to still feel like a proper pub. Too many pubs these days feel like a corporate chain but the Parish Lantern has that slightly old-fashioned quaintness and friendliness that is becoming less common now. The menu is extensive and more adventurous than many but still has pub staples on it. We found the food a little overcooked but still enjoyable and we will return. Parking alongside and a bit of outdoor space too, for those occasional days every few years when the sun comes out. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"
