I used to go here alot but recently the prices have gone up and the food has gone down hill. I used to recommend this place to everyone as the food was lovely but not anymore....won't be returning. It's a shame...also £4.50 for a soda...

Idriz and his team at this restaurant are welcoming and friendly. The food is cooked wonderfully and presented beautifully. The added bonus is the lovely terrace where we sat in the sunshine. I enjoyed my second visit in a week, trying the superb a la carte menu on Monday and the set lunch today. Keep up the good work!

I made a reservation for my husband's 40th birthday family dinner, and the entire experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Well……..What a great night we had after organising my partners 30th birthday. Service was amazing and the staff there are just so professional and friendly they make you feel very welcome! From start to finish we couldn’t of asked for a better night. Food was yummy credits to the chef and stress free it was all done to perfection. Fantastic night at the Plough following recent renovations. The new decor is smart and stylish, and a great venue for a special occasion. Love the new menu, some of the favourite original dishes still remain with some exciting new choices including excellent veggie options. The duck spring roll was soooo delicious, and the fish and chips was the very best I've had in a long long time. The roast is also superb, accompanied by 5* roast potatoes. As always the service is excellent. We've been visiting the Plough for many years and the food has always been consistently good and always piping hot! Will be returning very soon for that Duck spring roll!

The adult meals were mediocre, with the roast beef being the standout dish. The roast potatoes were undercooked and lacked crispiness, and the vegetables were very basic. We had to ask for extra gravy twice before it finally arrived towards the end of our meal. The desserts were the best part of the meal, with the sticky toffee pudding being a highlight. The service from our main waiter was excellent, but overall, for the amount of money we paid, we expected higher quality and more creative dishes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the value for money and the quality of the children's meals. Based on our experience, I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. Visualizza piatti
