"the Queens head is our way into the pub for consistently amazing food. the belly pork is from this world, but after the last 3 visit I decided to try the fish chips. it must be the best haddock I ever had! very light, thinner teig that does not take away from fresh fish! our company had steak, beef wellington, steak ale pie the salmon. all amazing I can not recommend this pub enough. great for our jubilee, birthday, friends to treat or just because they feel like a good meal"

We use the Queens Head every year for a post Christmas celebration with friends. They never let us down.

Food is amazing every time, staff are so welcoming, accommodating and friendly (even with the kids in tow! Pork belly is hands down my go to!

First time we’ve eaten here. The food was great as was the service. Some mains were a bit pricy but not too out of line with similar pubs. We will be going back.

Our first visit and made to feel really welcome by Valerie and Fabian. The food was really good Pork Belly the finest we've tasted and the haddock in the fish and chips was delicious. See you soon!

Disappointing starters my wife ordered shell on Tiger prawns in white wine sauce. The prawns were not shell on and the white wine sauce was not palatable. I ordered broccoli and Stilton soup which had no substance and was very watery. The main meals were good.

Out of all the roast dinners we have tried in the area we like this the best. The only criticism would be it needs more veg on the plate or a side of veg. Really like this pub, great location especially on a sunny day and a really nice pub manager/owner who always makes the effort to chat to customers.
