"Thoroughly enjoyed a two course lunch with small bottles of Prosecco.. perfect for an early Christmas celebration. Shame there was no Christmas menu for diners other than parties, esp on the last week leading up to Christmas. And, the background music was a little too loud for easy conversation.. it should be at a level to provide atmosphere, not where we had to raise our voices to be heard.. it’s a youth thing!! The seafood linguine was absolutely delicious.. we’ll be back. Merry Christmas!"

We had a wonderful dinner on Friday, December 30, 2022. The service was outstanding, and the staff made every effort to ensure we had a great evening. Highly recommended!

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was of poor quality and lacked flavor. My dinner was soaked in a bad sauce and was otherwise tasteless. We arrived and after about 30 minutes we ordered our food and the power went out . We were very lucky as our food just came . The food was delicious I had seafood risotto and husband had fish and chips . We could not pay due to power cut but we went home and lucky their power came back on and then the pub phoned and we paid .

the Queens head is our way into the pub for consistently amazing food. the belly pork is from this world, but after the last 3 visit I decided to try the fish chips. it must be the best haddock I ever had! very light, thinner teig that does not take away from fresh fish! our company had steak, beef wellington, steak ale pie the salmon. all amazing I can not recommend this pub enough. great for our jubilee, birthday, friends to treat or just because they feel like a good meal
