came with some friends and was not disappointed! the food was very nice and the drinks were even better!

The food, drink food choice and price was excellent as was the service which was friendly and very helpful

We went as a group of five and found the staff friendly and efficient. Plates were warm and food was hot. Will go back again.

Don’t bother eating here. Firstly it takes an hour after arriving to be given drinks. Another hour or so to get pre ordered starters which were hit and miss. Hope you are not hungry because another very long wait for preordered mains. Fish and chips...shop bought and nasty with hardly any cod in it. The worst restaurant I have ever visited. Don’t waste your time or money. Food is Mediocre and tasteless.

I had a lovely meal here some time ago, but what a disappointment today. Gastro pub? Wierd menu, strange combinations of food and flavourings, so I chose a safe steak sandwich. It was OK but nothing special. Served in a small ciabbata roll with a...few chips, no garnish. We waited minutes for food, minutes for drinks, and the dessert menu never arrived. This is a fabulous building in a great location but we shan't return.

I have never been in this the area before and we discover The rambles rest by mistake. My husband and I stopped for a bite, but eventually realize that it isn't just a pub for a quick meal, the staff told us that was very...busy and couldn't aspect a fast service, which was fair. We waited enjoying the sun and drinking in the patio. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food delicious. Lovely place, next time we will be back with our dogs, but I would suggest to book in advance!

I've been going to the ramblers for many years. I have always found the personal friendly, hard work and the service was great. I had recently had some negative experiences, chelsea the manager reacted immediately. there are some many years of employees who are excellent, some of the new employees are young and inexperienced, the team works hard to scratch the newer staff. I am sure that the new employees do not abandon the management and work hard to be as good as the existing team. in any case they go to the ramblers

here with the family after a walk in banstead woods. we just wanted a quick drink, but after we were sitting on a table for minutes and ignored, I went into the bar just to say abruptly that it was just sitting service. The...Waitress took our order, but then on return to the table we waited a few minutes before another waitress asked if we were served. she (the second waitress) at least did not forget us when the drinks arrived shortly after, and thereby earned this place another star, but this realluy seems to be a pretty hit and miss facility. Unfortunately, I think there is an element of forcedness, as they get a lot through the traffic of walkers. I would recommend the white hard for a...
