"We were a party of five and booked a table for dinner 20.00 hours. As usual,on arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our pre-laid table. I ordered poppadoms for my starters followed by chicken Naga with a mushroom bharji and a pilau rice as side dishes. One of the best things about this place is that no matter what you order, the dishes are served up looking and smelling wonderful and perfectly cooked and always good portions. We have been coming here now for many years and have never been served up with a poor dish. We hope the place never changes and shall certainly returun again in the near future."

"first visit in a year, this restaurant was earlier one of my favorite and very good service and environment, unfortunately it has now deteriorated. literally for 7.30 a.m. on Saturday and at arrival we were put into the bar to eat what was. very loud surrounded by loud annoying people so a conversation between my part and I was difficult. the waiter was a little short at the limit. the Krug crackers are now charged and expensive. the portions were still delicious, but small and very badly presented (especially the salad) compared to my previous visit. waited for 35 minutes to gloomy and had to ask again and again about the bill. sad to say, I'm not sure I'm going back!"

"Three of us invaded this lovely eatery in Chingford on a busy Saturday night, and we weren 't disappointed. We were warmly greeted by Silvo and shown to our table. The decor remains unchanged: romantic lighting, light coloured walls, and prints of Italian locations. Armed with two Aperol Spritz, we perused their wide ranging menu, especially when you include their Specials ' board. Accompanied by welcoming background music and the polite chatter and laughter from other diners already there, we made our selection. Soon, Orazio joined us, and the chat and laughter began with Silvo and Orazio. Our starters consisted of Avocado and Prawns for two; and Avocado, Prawns, and crab for one, off their specials ' board. The freshness and flavour were outstanding. Our mains were as great, too. There was Lamb, fresh Tuna, both with sides; and one Linguine Marinara: all were presented and prepared to perfection. This was baptised with our traditional Primitivo: a full bodied red from Italy with a hint of sweetness and an appetising aroma. We gluttons then found room for dessert: profiteroles and ice cream; afrogato, and an apple pie drizzled off menu with Amaretto. These were delicious. We concluded this culinary perfection with an Americano, lemon tea, a cappuccino, and two black Sambucas. Plus, complimentary ones from our gracious hosts grazie mille, Silvo. It was truly a splendid dining experience. Our compliments to the chef for his artistry and friendliness, and a big 'thank you ' to all at La Baita for the chat, laughter, and superb cuisine. "I would advise that they do not order the delivery of this place. we have submitted an order that we have not received since half an hour after we have said that it would be with us in a few minutes. the manager and the driver were incredibly unhelpful when we complained not to get the food and when it finally arrived an hour late! they were not at all apologetic. we were not offered an apology or discount, and the driver ended the food away, instead of just apologising for lateness and not contacting us to tell us it would be late. To be honest, we didn't do sushi that was already an hour in a warm car. can not speak for the restaurant, but delivery and customer service were appalling."

"a few friends told us about this place when we just started years ago. Since then, zaza has always been our safer harbour: when we wanted a nice lunch or dinner, but nothing too chic or too basic when we had guests from Britain or other countries and we wanted to be sure everyone is happy and satisfied. it offers a very good selection of things to do, for us it is really a safe choice. in fact, the place Italian cuisine makes with an attention to the English gamut. for example, honesty, I love the stuffed pasta "conchiglie with pollen (hence) although the chicken filling in italy is not really used. in this case, the result is worth. but in any case there are so many teller to try. we were always served with courtesy and a friendly smile. Eat is fresh and tastes beautiful. her crème Brûlée is still one of my favorite places in comparison to others. I don't think it's suitable for children to walk around (there are places more child-friendly, I think). but is nice for a good time with the right people and good eating."
