Neely refurbished very smart bar ! Professional service, spotlessly clean Now serving breakfast from 9 and good all day. I had a very tasty bacon chop served with a really nice sauce . Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay.The rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean,we had a lovely sea view .The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is lovely and very well presented, the Sunday roast is delicious

I stopped by for a fantastic full English breakfast! The service was efficient and the tea pots were a nice touch. The breakfast was served piping hot on hot plates. Despite it being a rainy Monday, the restaurant was quite busy. I highly recommend it. Visualizza piatti

Been into the Royal previously for cocktails, however came in today for food, the menu had plenty of options good pricing. The food itself was very enjoyable. The staff could not of been more friendly accommodating. Will happily be returning recommending for food

Me and my husband decided to try here for a Sunday roast and my god it was amazing, I had the roast and he had the chicken kabab, why we didn't discover the food here before today is totally crazy, would recommend to anyone, delicious food and great attentive staff, we will definitely be back!

Very expensive .... I ordered a mojti they told me part way through making the drink they had no mint. This is a vital ingredient of the drink so it just didn't taste right and still charged me £9!!! As we were leaving someone ordered 1pt lager and 2 halves total £14.10 seems we're paying for the decor it has nothing else to offer. Very sad a local bar is charging so much Visualizza piatti

I visited the bar with a friend for a drink. The bar has been renovated, and it looks beautiful. It reminded me a lot of The Ivy. We tried some non-alcoholic cocktails that were excellent, and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere of the place was lovely. I would definitely return. They currently don't serve food, but they are planning to reintroduce it soon. It's a classy establishment.

My friend and I went for an early dinner last night on December 7th. We both ordered fish and chips, but were disappointed with the quality. When we informed the chef, the barman came back to tell us that everything was fine and brushed off our complaints. The fish batter was undercooked, the mushy peas were not mushy and had a strange yellow color, and the chips were also not fully cooked or crispy. To top it off, we were the only customers eating in the bar and the staff still couldn't prepare our meal properly. It seemed like they didn't care to make it right.

As our ferry to the IOM was cancelled 2 hours into our 4 journey to Heysham and we had our family dog with us, we needed a dog friendly place to stay close to the port really late at night. We were meant to stay at the hotel on our RETURN from the Isle of Man (that ferry was cancelled too) so I knew the owner’s number to see if there was availability. Chris answered straight away late at night, got the cleaners out late at night to prep rooms for us and put us up in fabulously renovated rooms. We cannot fault these rooms at all, they were perfect, so stylish and quiet too.
