We have eaten here twice this week Sunday dinner and Valentines evening and the food was fantastic! Great modern menus. Staff back on track. We are local and are so glad to have great food on our doorstep!!

Yesterday, we celebrated our ruby anniversary dinner at the Royal Oak. All 18 of our guests were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service, just as we were. I was especially appreciative of the patience and cooperation shown while organizing this event. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you so much!

This place is a joke, we visited a few months back to eat at secret burger club, took a friend and our 1 year old in the pushchair asleep, we got a pint and food and was very rudely told to leave on the spot by management because we had a child with us past a certain time. Wouldn’t have minded if those were the rules and were asked politely. But now it’s came to light that when they have a food festival and more people attend for the food the rules don’t apply because they are lining their pockets. Won’t be coming back again.

I visited last night with my family and close friends to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we arrived, my guests and I felt warmly welcomed. Throughout the evening, the service was excellent, and the waiting staff had a friendly approach. The food was truly outstanding – everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the Rump Steak, which was presented to perfection: delicate, flavorful, and beautifully done. This is by far the best dining spot in the area, and I would recommend it to everyone. It was so good that we returned today for the Sunday roast and enjoyed another impeccable culinary experience, all at great value for money.
