My familys favourite sunny spot for days off any available Sunday! Reliably fab food, great atmosphere dog friendly outside terrace. Lobster fizz ? whats not to love ?

Excellent quality fairly priced so yes it's a stylish chip shop but different in the way things are done the fish was that fresh it still had the fisherman in the end of it!! Nice range of starters and desserts Peroni on tap! Well done!

Immaculately cooked quality fish superb chips. The John Dory was exceptional, as it was a year ago. Couldn’t love this place more. Some of the most generous salads you’ll ever see. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere simple , well executed food. You couldn’t ask for much more.

beautiful meal. small place and very informal, but eating was excellent, and quickly arrived. Maybe some of the most beautiful fish and chips I've ever had. my wife had brill with a soak that was just as delicious. some left room for dessert, and the tart tatin and walnuts tart were excellent. The desserts were delightful, but don’t miss out on the walnut and Welsh whisky tart with cream—it’s absolutely divine, and people even call to reserve it! The staff is wonderfully friendly and work tirelessly, running up and down the stairs, so be sure to leave them a tip. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to dine, but make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The first time we visited a few years ago, we thought it was just as good as Rick Stein's restaurant. Our most recent visit last night did not disappoint; it was absolutely stunning. We started with fresh crab and scallops, which were delicious and perfectly portioned. For the main course, we had hake and halibut—the halibut must have been a substantial fish because my piece was a generous fillet. It was served with local potatoes, which are fantastic on their own. Everything was cooked to perfection, and we've already booked another visit for next week. They really know how to showcase their fish here!

The cod was enormous, and the chips were beautifully crisp, accompanied by a lovely tartar sauce. The cod itself was exceptionally tasty, cooked to perfection—flaky and delicate. Yum! The service was great too, provided by a woman named Ffion and a charming young man with dark curly hair, whose name we didn't catch. The only issue we encountered was that the portion of fish was so large that I couldn't finish it all. My partner took the plate to the counter to ask if we could get a doggy bag for our Afghan hound, Ayesha, to enjoy a tasty bite as well.
