"I have visited this restaurant twice recently after hearing it was hit-and-miss in the past. I must say, the improvement is noticeable. The service from the staff was excellent and the food quality was really good. The menu may not be extensive, but it has something for everyone. Overall, this pub/restaurant has greatly improved from my previous experiences."

We enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch with a choice of one vegetarian option and one beef dish, both delicious on a chilly afternoon. The restaurant offers lovely views of the water and sunset, creating a great atmosphere.

Cozy lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, very attentive. Welder the bartender was excellent, helped us find a table as we haven’t pre-booked. Even though it busy our food arrived In Good time, very tasty and good value for money. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Mark, Katie and the team at The Ship really put on a great night with a ticketed event to celebrate New Years Eve. I attended with friends and we were greeted with a choice of 3 welcome drinks. Later in the evening we had a pie supper and then danced to well known songs from the DJ.

Lovely Christmassy environment, great friendly service but food average to poor. My main was £25 and I had stone cold vegetables. If we had not visited for a lovely family meal I would have sent the food back to the kitchen but did not do so because I did not wish to spoil the occasion.

Fantastic dinner and dessert with family here. The Ship has a very comfortable and warm environment. Service was very friendly. Laura and staff were helpful and joyful. The food is excellently prepared, plated, and delicious. Blackberry and apple crumble is an incredible dessert choice. Would love to come back.

The most beautiful pub restaurant in the most beautiful of settings. The food and drinks were Devine, service was attentive and very non intrusive …. My fussy little girl ate all of her beautifully cooked fish and chips and devoured the ice cream. The hosts are lovely and kind. You won’t go wrong by visiting this gorgeous pub

10 of us arrived for dinner at 6pm, were greeted in a very friendly manner shown to a lovely table. Janna looked after us, she was excellent, nothing too much trouble and joyous all the time. Food (pre-booked) arrived in a timely manner and was really good. Will be back for Xmas next year and in between times too. Great job guys!! Happy New Year to all.
