"my friend and I went past this place after a boat trip in ilfracombe and it immediately caught my attention! we didn't go in as soon as we wanted to explore and check the opposite first before we decided where we were eating and we ended here! I love the ambiente and how they decided the interior design from sofa to tables and these hanging things! also the combination of colors! feels like you are in Pirates Square! eating was good and not expensive for a tourist place! service was ok, one of the ladies was really nice and one was not. I'm looking forward to tasting your praise next time!"

we had no reservation, so we had to wait 40 minutes on our table, but it is worth it. beautiful romantic place with delicious food and good portions.

a beautiful place. the decor is fabulous. I had laughs and my man had the hot seafood plate. both perfectly cooked, delicious and served very quickly and with a smile. the personal is also very nice.

Went here 3 times during a week holiday, had a wide variety of food to choose from and we enjoyed all our meals. I liked the idea of just turning up for a table rather than booking. The staff were very friendly.

Ate early evening. Fish n chips, seafood platter. Foot reasonably quality, staff friendly. Probably overpriced for what is on offer. You are paying for the harbour side location. Not much quality competition close by so easy money imho

Me and my family have been visiting here on trips to Ilfracombe for close to 40 years. It feels the same now as it did back then. We love it for that. The food is delicious with plenty of choice and the staff are all excellent. See you next year.

Very busy. Great service and seemed very efficient. However hubby's steak was tough. My fish platter was nothing special. To be honest felt a bit like a food production line which given how busy it was can't be surprising. Real character interior. Maybe we just chose the wrong time of day.

nice eating, right at the inner harbour. can be very busy here so that the personal can call their mobile number if a place is available, please stay close, because there is an excellent small restaurant with a varied menu, very worth the wait. also the employees are friendly service excellent.

Very busy. I had to wait for a table, but then so did all those who came in after me. Slow getting my food but it was worth waiting for. I just had Surf and Turf. Steak was medium rare as I had requested and the six or so garlic prawns were excellent with it. I would go back but I am only here one night.
