"Went thus afternoon for hubby's birthday lunch,we've heard all about it so decided to try it out as there was just us two,we'll we were not disappointed, this pub is a jem we shall be returning to,the staff were lovely,friendly and helpful,then let's get to the food!, I went for the Greek salad with chips,I've had Greek salads in many restaurants and not been impressed,this however was a different story,delishous olives,plenty of chunks of feta,generous helpings of tomatoes onion,cucumber,lettuce,rocket thrown in which I love,and hummus and pitta bread,I really could not manage more than four or five lovely rustic chips,my hubby had Tallahassee chicken with vegatables,the breast was enormous,everything on his plate was piping hot,one dessert followed,not me because I could not eat another thing,lemon meringue which I'm told was delishous,we will return,and personally I can't wait,"

We had a fantastic meal, the star is classy, very clean, the staff are lovely, very efficient and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about it. We will definitely be going back.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff for a wonderful meal and a delightful evening yesterday in celebration of my son's 16th birthday. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The atmosphere was friendly, and the food was fantastic—not to mention the wine! I didn’t have to worry about the bill, which was great. I will definitely be returning.

I went to celebrate my partner's birthday with the whole family, a total of 15 people. Overall, everything was really nice; the food was fantastic. We started with drinks in the beer garden and then moved to the restaurant for our meal. The staff was friendly and very attentive. All the meals were served hot, and there was plenty on the plate. I would definitely go back!
