The Sushi Maki - Piatti

A must for sushi lovers! Absolutely brilliant! We had a wonderful lunch, enjoyed different types of sushi and desert. The food is brilliant, the restaurant is authentic and staff were excellent!

Nice food, but a little underwhelming for the price. They do have vegan options noted on the menus and it is easy to see what you can and can't eat with that diet, which is good. It is also great that they have an outdoors seating area where you can eat.

Excellent sushi, excellent service! Lots of different vegan/vegetarian options, particularly liked the crunchy veggie rolls with tofu. So good we ordered more. The edamame beans were also very good, served slightly warm with extra salt. Great wine selection too. Visualizza piatti

Below underwhelming. Had a crab remake which was ok. Gyoza which were below average and karaage which was bad (like breaded chicken nuggets from Tesco’s value section). I must have gone on an off day because the other reviews seem to be great Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40

Really lovely sushi restaurant. Wide variety of sushi on the menu. Kids menu is great and we then bought the sharing platter and a few other plates to share across the family. Great quality ingredients and wonderful staff. The kids love watching the chefs make the food at the back between courses. Thoroughly recommend

Good quality sushi restaurant with kind staffs. We visited with baby. Staffs were helpful to provide us with water with strew. Ordered shared plate for 2, 30 pc of various shushi, wakame salad, yakitori and dessert. Ingredients of shushi were fresh, yakitori was tasty! Possibly the best sushi I have ever had. Excellent small, very clean little place. Friendly staff and very, very good food. I highly recommend this. My picture does not do the mixed sushi of the day justice. The jasmine tea was in a lovely cast iron little tea pot and the menu made it very hard to choose what I wanted as it all looked good (hence the mixed choice)

A lovely, quaint sushi restaurant. I am used to going to one of the larger sushi chains but this was a lively visit where staff were more than happy to help/answer questions and the food was delicious. The edamame was lovely and warm rather than cold from going round a belt a few times and I loved the authentic looking teapot and cup for the green tea and the pourer for the soy sauce.

Allergic to nuts. No mention of nuts on the menu. Nuts added to meals that no other sushi restaurant’s do (Wakame Salad) Very unsympathetic response form the guy on the phone when we called in to enquire about possible nuts after having eaten them unknowingly. Employee said they don’t know what nuts are included. “It just says nuts, on the packet” ————————————— In response to your response; A fair point and a responsibility that I would have taken upon myself, had the attitude of the person on the phone been less dismissive and unconcerned.
