Definitely worth a visit! Had a lovely meal with my family here last night, food was great especially the burger! 100% recommended!

Great food, especially the Thai food which is absolutely amazing . Lovely cosy, traditional little pub and staff are great too, well worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch, 2 big roasts for £20! Options for meat. We went for some beautiful pork belly! Topped off with lovely cheesecake. Would highly recommend.

Had a meal here last night with friends to mark a work colleague’s retirement. What a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent with a good choice of menu, home cooked curries, ribs, pork burger, all beautifully presented, lovely accompaniments, generous portions. Nice choice of desserts. Excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.

As Always a very warm welcome, we had a table of 6 booked and couldn’t be more accommodating! Service was perfect, quick and very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful! The food is on another level, it’s outstanding! All 6 of us got exactly what we ordered, in good time and to amazing standard! The choice of desserts is near on impossible to choose just one all of them sounded amazing, we had the brownie and the cheesecake between us and they where sooooo good! The fire was on and was so cosy! My dad is into different ales and beers and was impressed with the variety! Can’t wait to come back and try something different on the menu!

We went here for lunch and we sat in bar there was a small additional restaurant area but we were happy in bar. A nice selection of beers ,food was ordered from a blackboard menu,my wife had the Thai red curry my wife said it was very hot which was perfect for her ,I had the Venison and red wine stew the meat was very tender ,we both agreed both meals were very tasty and as good as we’ve had anywhere. My only small criticism was that when my wife finished her food she pushed the plate to one-side at which the barmaid ask to take it away while I was still eating and was asking me while I had a mouthful of food if we wanted desserts Would we go back YES.
