"DO NOT BOOK CLOSED DOWN We came for a wedding and booked a holiday apartment here for 18th May. I had a query beforehand but couldn't get through to the Tipputs Inn at all no answer on email and their voicemail filled up. When we arrived we realised it must have closed down nobody there, post piling up inside the door. There is no evidence online that they have closed down and our booking wasn't cancelled. It looks like it's still possible to book online don't!"

CLOSED DOWN You are still able to book and we received a confirmation email. Very disappointed as no indication it was closed.

We had booked for a meal the night before and got there to find the place closed. Never had an apology or anything. Rubbish service!

Had an excellent family meal on Easter Monday. Food and drink were top notch and the service by Oliver was friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend a visit to anyone and we will call again when we are next visiting the area.

We had a lovely meal Easter Monday. Excellent service, staff were very friendly and so accommodating. Family friendly- we had a small baby just beginning to eat, and they supported with food, highchair and cleaning up after. Couldn't ask for better service. Food was delicious. The beef burger is one of the best burgers I've had.

Good beer, nice crab sandwich for lunch. 6/7/22 Still the same high standard. Highly recommended. 16/2/23 Nothing changed interesting menu, well cooked and very pleasantly served. 17/04/2024 Changed hands. Unsurprisingly empty. Very poor, short menu, poorly cooked. Not even cheap £30 for a house sauvignon blanc. It won't last long.

Do not book closed down but still allowing online booking. I have booked to stay in one of the upstairs rooms for this weekend but no payment taken so I tried phoning and emailing but no response. Several Google, Facebook and Tripadvisor reviews over the past few weeks to say it has closed down with post piling up at the front door.
