It is a good seaside venue with a wide selection of food. If you like the sea view and friendly staff with rapid service you will be pleased.

hadn't been around for a few years, but will certainly go back. we had all garlic mushrooms for a starter, it was the best we ever had, great. I had chicken and ragcake, the woman had a bell for the main thing. both meals were very good (turnip was a bit hard, too bigga chunk.) the service was excellent. no gloomy, we couldn't fit them in. we would definitely recommend it.

I went out for a Christmas meal with my colleagues. We had a good time and the staff was quick to assist us. My only complaint was that I was seated with my back to the sea, and the wind coming from the sea made it really cold. The staff did turn on the heating to help a bit, but it was still chilly. Absolutely brilliant Mother's Day lunch, all thanks to The Venue. The set menu was amazing with a surprising amount of vegetarian alternatives. The food was delicious and plentiful. I mean, the portions were big. More than worth the modest proce tag! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when getting some melon for my niece, even though it wasn't technically available. The service staff were outstanding and friendly. I am so glad that The Venue is around.

This is a great review of a local pub that is dog-friendly and serves good food. The interior is nicely laid out, not too fancy but just right. The view from the front of the pub overlooking the seafront is beautiful. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and I would definitely return. The pub also has a restaurant upstairs, a room available for hire downstairs, and a large car park.

We hosted our son's baptism at this restaurant and were very pleased with the venue. We opted for the Spirit function suite as it was more accessible for older family members. Everyone enjoyed the food, commenting on its quality and generous portions. The young girl working at the bar was exceptional and the management was great. However, we did feel slightly rushed towards the end as we were under the impression that we could continue drinking as long as we wanted, especially since there were still around 15 of us spending money.
