The Wadkin Arms - Piatti

We have been frequenting this pub in our neighborhood for more than a decade. It serves as a wonderful gathering place for the local community. The charity fundraisers and the Christmas party for seniors are especially impressive.

Cosy pub with a large selection of drinks and open fires- what more could you want! Staff are superb and the variety of food nights are a great addition. We’ve currently had food from a Pizza van, Latin fusion and fish and chips. All been brilliant. Would 100% recommend

In terms of noise, this restaurant is a major disturbance to what used to be a quiet area of the village. I would consider lodging a complaint with the local council, but it seems more likely that I would have better luck learning how to knit fog than receiving a response. Visualizza piatti

A lovely warm and cosy pub with great atmosphere, fire is always lit, plenty of great beers and wine to choose from, the staff are very polite and sociable. They do regular events from bands to food nights to pub quiz etc. definitely worth the visit check out their Facebook page for updates on events! Overall a top pub 10/10 experience from us!

I have been quite a few times to this pub to meet up with friends and do the quiz. The pub itself is lovely, feels warm, cosy and traditional with such a lovely atmosphere! The staff were exceptional. Really friendly and welcoming, they all seemed genuinely happy to chat away to customers and you can see why they have such a loyal bunch of regulars! I've also had fish and chips from the chippy van they have and it was delicious! Will definitely be returning more meals and drinks!

Moved to osgodby for some peace and quiet; but now the constant noise and rabble from this place is running my life. The owners (star pubs) won't do anything about it. The council won't do anything about it. I can't even sit in my garden or open a window on a night an without listening to overbearing music on many a occasion and loud scummy people shouting on weekends during most seasons. There's nothing i can do apart from us noise cancelling headphones which aren't always effective. This is not how I want to live. Visualizza piatti

Only been to a few pubs cautiously and outside. This is by far the best! Must sign in, perspex at the bar and temperature check clear notices about social distancing and they tell customers if you don't adhere. Very friendly staff, good beers and wines and bar snacks. Large extended outside space well ventilated, with open area but covered so you don't get wet! Sanitizers. Toilets only 1 person allowed in you must lock the door behind you, spotlessly clean with hand wash and sanitizers. They couldn't do better to protect their staff and customers. We felt safe and we are both in the vulnerable group. Thank you good experience. Much better than many other pubs we have been to in the area.

This pub is the safest in the area! In addition to offering excellent ales and wines, they have made significant efforts to protect customers. They have created an outdoor area with a covered space, large windows without glass for ventilation, and a television. There are Perspex screens at the bar to prevent loitering, masks must be worn until seated, and temperature checks are conducted. The customer service is fantastic, with staff serving at the table while maintaining social distancing. The atmosphere inside is cozy with open fires, and toilets are kept spotless with designated usage and sanitizers available. It is a shame that they are closing tonight, this will be the last opportunity...

I first visited this pub in September, for a pit stop while cycling. The safety measures in place were the best I've seen in an establishment since Covid 19 broke out. Not only does the pub have a mask rule and track and trace, they also check your temperature before you order. As someone living with a highly vulnerable person, this really made me feel safe entering the pub. The shandy I had there was the best I'd ever tasted. In the next few weeks I visited again, explaining I tried a shandy here and really enjoyed it, but didn't know which beer was used.
