"I often come to gaucho and to say I was disappointed last night would be an understatement. My fiancé and I both ordered fillet steak, well I have never seen a cut of fillet steak as flat as the ones we had and the taste wasn’t great either. The chips were over cooked and we couldn’t eat them, the peppercorn sauce was so watery and didn’t taste anything like peppercorn, I couldn’t finish my meal. I wanted to make a complaint on the night as I wasn’t prepared to pay for my main meal but my fiancé told me to rather write a review afterwards as he finds things like that a little embarrassing. The starter was lovely but you can’t really go wrong with bread butter and the dessert was also ok. Very disappointing as we love gaucho but we won’t be going back there in a hurry. I’m not sure if you have changed management, but a friend of mine said they went to to the one in Tower Hill not long ago and they were also very disappointed. Seems like a lot has changed which is a real shame."

Wonderful experience - the restaurant had a perfect balance of customers, not too crowded or empty. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere were both enjoyable.

Could not have been better. Alpha waiter was top notch and made the whole experience great. Knew when to approach table and knew when to stay away. Was never rushed and was a very relaxing meal. Steaks where awesome. Definitely be returning. Well done them Gaucho

We had a great experience at Gauchos from being greeted at door to leaving.We had great service and the pornstar cocktails the best?!Inhad a sirloin my husband had a rump both delicious.As it was his birthday they brought out a plate reading happy birthday with a cheesecake very thoughtful! Would recommend this restaurant.

Good place to grab food and a drink before a show—the food was decent though not amazing for the price (same with the signature cocktails, a bit overpriced for what they were). Service was great, our server was wonderful, but the upstairs (2nd level) area was quite hot and uncomfortable to sit in despite having 3 huge AC units running

When I made the reservation I specifically mentioned it was my sons 21st, I was very disappointed that the restaurant didn’t even write happy birthday on his dessert or wish him happy birthday. Clearly they don’t pay any attention to booking reservation requests so why ask. When he left the restaurant he asked if they knew it was my special birthday and I replied yes. It really did spoil the whole evening for the family and especially my son. we can’t even get that night back.
