"I called in for a Friday evening meal having read positive reviews on here. They were not doing food so I just stayed for a beer then moved on. The beer was very good from local Ossett Brewery. But the pub had that annoying trait of all the locals congregating around the bar so you can't get near to get served. They should publicise on their website when they are serving food."

Loads of real ales, great atmosphere, and the lighting is spot on! my local has uncomfortable seating and is lit up like a Christmas tree...its awful, oh and NO real ale. Disaster!! . The White Horse is a brilliant place to call.

great local pub, I always get a warm welcome and great real ale. the food is served again, and we have found that it is reasonable price and good quality. outside area not massive, but it is not really such a pub. dogs are welcome when their out walking in the opposite.
