"The staff at this restaurant were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Although the place looks cozy, that is sadly the only positive thing about it. The reality is that it is very pretentious, with a limited menu selection and unreasonably high prices for the quality of the food. After enduring a few minutes of unpleasant service, we chose to leave. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a 1 out of 5."

I think this place has closed, sadly. I was there four years ago and had a wonderful meal but rang twice last week and left messages for a reservation and nobody came back to me. Shame. It was great.

Do not miss out on dinner at The Whitehouse! The small number of tables makes for a personal and cozy ambience. Each course was beautifully presented and delicious, with some yummy surprises provided throughout. The whole dining experience felt elevated and special.

This has now reopened under the name, The Nest. The first night was the August; under new management. I was with a group of that were staying in the area and we were looked after so well with great food save room for the Baileys Cheesecake!! Very homely and we have become their first regulars for the week, with a round trip, it’s worth it.
