We had a lovely midweek meal with my parents who had come down and were staying at the Wotton House hotel next door. The food and beer were excellent. We ate in the bar area rather than the restaurant. We were well catered for even when we were in a side room by ourselves. The pub is modern with lots of period features and a lovely open fire. Friendly staff. Recommend. Price per person: £30–40

We enjoyed our experience so much that we went two nights in a row! The price per person is around £50-60, with top-notch food, service, and atmosphere all scoring a perfect 5 out of 5. We particularly recommend trying the Plant-Based Burger.
