"We went to this restaurant for a dinner and had reserved table before throuhg tripadvisor webpage. At the reservation was that we get 30% discount from the menu items. When we arrvived to the restaurant it was almoust empty and they recognice our reservation right away. We got menus and asked about the discount and then sit started. The waiter (woman) explained us that the discount doesn't concern menus and plates and so on... It is only valid when you order from ala carte and you HAVE to eat also a main course which were very expencive ! I tried to explain to the waiter that when we reserved the table nowhere was rule that you have to take main course and it dosn't consern the ready sushi menus ? Then the waiter shout to us again and again that so it is and it is not her reason why it is not said at the web page. She was so rude that I have never ever faced situation like that. We stand up and went out of the restaurant. We don't know about the food at restaurant but we never have to figure it out becouse we won't go to this restaurant ever."

"a modern setting and a cheerful and lively atmosphere in the evening. Many people do not prevent reception and service from being very friendly and effective. the menu offers many Italian specialties, pizzy, pasti and bruchetti that we could taste were very good. idem for desserts. of good quality Italian cuisine that is not limited to classic pasta/pizza. the wine map is quite rich and seems to be of good quality (we had for our part chosen a very good oat nero.) the basic rates are fairly high but by booking online (more than advised given the frequentation of the places the discount offers allow to reduce the addition to a correct level. an address we keep in our book without problems"

"This was such a sweet discovery in the A wee Italian restaurant on the Faubourg St. Jacques about a mile from where we were staying. It was wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we walked out the door. Very little English...but we got on just fine with our limited language skills. We used our wee bits of French and they used their much better grasp of English and we had a delightful meal. After we ordered, we were treated to a mini bite of a special appetizer from the chef a delicious bit of toasted baguette with a pistachio sauce, tomato and cheese. Delicious. We ordered a carafe of wine and beef Carpaccio they brought us the tomato Carpaccio and realized their mistake later and brought out the beef Carpaccio and didn’t charge us. The mistake was a really good one because the tomato Carpaccio was amazing!!! It came with a generous battered and fried ball of mozzarella laid on a bed of thinly sliced tomatoes drizzled in a delicious balsamic vinegar, olive oil and bits of basil. It was so good and we didn’t complain at all. And then suddenly the beef Carpaccio arrived with apologies for the mistake. Not necessary in the slightest but we really enjoyed that as well. My husband ordered Veal Parmesan and I got the Domenico pizza which was full of mozzarella, ham, chorizo, artichokes and black olives. Wonderful. As we were finishing up, we were gifted with another glass of wine each. Even without all the extra attention/treats we would definitely put Cantinella on our list of restaurants for our next trip to Paris. We loved it. Such a wonderful relaxing evening. Amazingly friendly service. Cantinella also has take-away if you want to order a pizza to go. There was a constant parade of young people in and out with boxes of pizza. There are a lot of great choices and I’m sure they’re all just as tasty as the Domenico. Go!!!"
