Tivoli Bistro - Menu

May be the place and the food are fine, but the waiter (I do not know if she was also the owner) completely spoils you the experience. I prefer not revealing any detail...

This is an excellent restaurant. Very small and replaced with authentic home cooking. Christiane and Gerard will host you and you feel you are eating right out of their kitchen. A tasty and authentic menu with local cuisine. Highly recommended.

This is a mom-and-pop place with great cooking and extremely reasonable prices, whether you arrive early enough for the €29,50 menu or order a la carte for less than €50 per person. Specialties include moues, cassolet, filet of sole. Just be prepared to wait for service. One person can do only so much.

We dined here on 2 evenings during our stay in Trouville, It is very small so booking is recommended, and was full both evenings. The food is well prepared and presented and there is an excellent selection of wines.It is run by a husband and wife team with the husband being the chef and wife runs front of house, they are both most pleasant and make you most welcome.No hesitation in recommending.

Down a quiet side street, this small, family run (I guess) restaurant serves good fresh food, well cooked and well presented and at reasonable prices for Trouville. The terrine was a little dry to my taste, but nonetheless good, while the sole meuniere was one of the best pieces of fish I had tasted in a long time. The waitress could not have been more friendly despite the snide half review just posted from El Grumpy from Madrid below...

This little restaurant is hidden down an unpromising side street off the pedestrianised zone.Step through the doors and you receive a lovely warm welcome, big smiles and a fantastic homely approach to service which makes such a difference!The food was excellent too. We shared an enormous mound of fresh mussels to start and finished off with beautifully cooked traditional french home-cooked dishes that were all perfectly executed and served with an endless supply of fresh bread.It's unpretenious, good value and a lovely little place.

We had the 29 euro menu, stater, main cheese and dessert. The lattr 2 were stndard French fare. We both had sole meuniere for main, beautifully cooked and madame will fillet for you at the table. My mussells aux creme starter was almost a main course in terms of quantity. 'Er indoors had the goats cheese salad which we similarly plentiful. No prizes for the artwork on the wall or the paper towels serving as napery, but food and service re very good at this price point. Doesn't eel like a tourrist trap like some of the other places in town.

My family and I were having a Sunday dinner at this bistro. Some ordered seafood, others beef, whereas I was having tooth on cheese and something fresh. Together with chevre chaud, Madam offered me a plate of fresh tomatoes of the season. The choice might seem strange, but capricious foodie as myself - I highly appreciate simple foods, because the most important rule of the food in my point of view is - high quality product. And so this tiny unpretentious bistro served me the the most delicious meal accompanied with good Sancere, great laugh and family like atmosphere.

This is a very small restaurant of about 25 covers run (I think) by a husband- chef and wife- front of house. We booked two tables of 8/9 and the guy said it was no problem. When we arrived I had been misunderstood (my poor French/his lack of English) and there was only 1 table booked. Poor madame she looked horrified when we all walked (there were already 6 people in there) but regained her composure and seated us all within a few minutes. After about 10 minutes she asked one of the group (who has reasonable French) to explain that they only had a small kitchen, one chef and her so could we all be patient.
