"A popular place with a good reputation. This was our first visit here and we were sadly disappointed. The haddock was well cooked but the batter was too thick and somewhat more greasy than expected. (Just as if the cooking oil temperature was less high than needed). The size of the chips portion was on the small side, though the quality of the chips was OK. So nothing to rave about, and not in any way unacceptable. The pricing was slightly on the high side, but with prices going up all the time that little extra cost might have been expected. There are better fish and chip shops, but maybe not in Edenbridge."

Can I just say Cain is fantastic as the new owner, he really cares about his staff talking to them with such empathy, also cares about his customers taking the time to chat and he cares about what he does. Lovely local fish and chip shop. Child friendly. Had fish and chips myself and my kids had the children’s menu. Clean restaurant area and toilets. Friendly and efficient staff. Weirdly they don’t accept cash here but there’s an ATM at the nearby Waitrose. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu includes drink and ice cream Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
