"We came in tired and hungry from a long day of exploring Rome. At first we did not get the attention we wanted/expected I spoke with the manager and he apologized letting me know they were short staffed on this particular evening. Then the best customer service I ever experienced began. The tuna in truffle sauce was divine and the godfather roll is the best sushi roll I have ever eaten. I go to sushi 1-2 times a week to put that in context. My children were treated well and spoken to like paying customers and Ika was not only very helpful and attentive but so graceful and gorgeous. I spoke with the owner upon our leaving and he personally offered to give us samples on the house the next day as they were closing when we left. I rate Tora Sushi among the best in the world. We will always cherish our experience here and want to pay our respects to the staff and thank them for a lovely experience. Grazie, my friends. Kid-friendliness: Treated my kids like family. 2 weeks into our vacation we needed a change from the typical cuisine of the city. We looked up this place and were pleasantly surprised with the great appetizers, sushi rolls, and very nice wait staff! Overall we had a GREAT dinner! Good selection of food on the menu. Apart from Japanese, also has some Thai variety. Friendly staff. Good interior atmosphere. Sashimi cut is unusually bigger/thicker than other places. Absolutely incredible place! Fresh and delicious fish. Lovely atmosphere and good servers. Spicy salmon stole my heart and shrimps in a spicy/creamy sauce from appetizers masterpiece. Highly recommended!!! Place was 2/3 booked but I luckily had a lovely table inside without reservation on Thursday, so on a weekend I would recommend to make a reservation. A parte un grande proprietario e il server più dolce il cibo qui era incredibile!! E' la mia prima volta a Roma, ma sono stata un'Italia per una settimana e desideravo un po' di cibo asiatico, arrivato a Roma e cosa sai, trovato questo posto. Siamo stati immediatamente seduti dal proprietario stesso che era estremamente personable. Non sapevo cosa aspettarmi dal cibo asiatico in Italia, ma gli ho dato una prova e sono rimasto profondamente impressionato. Il loro Ramen era 10/10 e anche i gnocchi. Sono stato con poche persone e ho avuto la possibilità di provare alcune cose dal menu - nessuno in cui mi ha deluso:

Aside from a great owner and the sweetest server the food here was incredible!! Its my first time in Rome but I have been an Italy for a week and was really craving some asian food- got to Rome and what do you know, found this spot. We were immediately seated by the owner himself who was extremely personable. I didn't know what to expect from asian food in Italy but I gave it a try and was thoroughly impressed. Their Ramen was 10/10 and so were the dumplings.
