"*Update 31.10.2016 unfortunately no longer so great* Was yesterday again there to eat delicious and what should I say my original review was probably too good... In the meantime, the store is rugged. We were two and we were assigned a little table! Directly on the way to the toilet, convenient and not covered. The cutlery was wild and the napkin on the ground. This condition was unfortunately an indicator for the rest of the evening. Overwhelmed staff, eating no longer so delicious and a noise level indescribable. Probably the place was overrun by success. Of course, this is only my opinion and the other guests have been very happy. But if you know the state before success, you are disappointed. I'll let my original assessment stand once, hoping that the owner will handle the matter and I can change my report of experience again! Do you eat Italian again? This way, please! Preliminary a word for evaluation: 5 stars are really an absolute recommendation and I am very careful with this review. In this case, however, it is justified and based on two visits where the second was even more perfect than the first. The Toro d'Oro is relatively new on the market. In the past, the whole of the Golden Ochsen was not the wrong choice of names: in the past, there were probably German domestic foods, but I never entered the hospitality because it seemed a bit gloomy to me and the figures before were honestly suspective to me. This has changed! Outside the building is of course still as before, but inside there has been a lot of things done. Freshly renovated, newly decorated and cozy seating at large tables. You need them too, but later more. Pleasant in summer: You can also sit outside on the terrace, this has a natural sun protection from standing greenhouses. Comfortable chairs with seat cushion invite to sit even longer. Very good. The service at Toro d'Oro is very good and is probably occupied by family members. The boss leads the guests to the table, expresses his personal recommendation to the dishes and then accepts the order of the guest. Change or individual no problem! Dad's gonna bring the drinks and a young man the rest. All friendly and not intrusive. Let us now come to the most important: The food! A purely Italian menu with a wide selection. Daily court and personal recommendation of the boss. Fresh fish! Pizza to go. I was there two times as I mentioned, and this was accompanied, so I could cost a lot of dishes. From pizza to salmon noodles absolutely superlecker! I don't know who cooks, but the next time I quote him or her to the table and congratulate him personally! The noodles were very good, the al forno dishes were right. The pizzas are crispy, have the right thickness and are super-coated. The ingredients in all dishes are of very good quality. Important for people with great hunger: The portions are really big, even the side salad delicious mustard dressing! nourishes 100 supermodels. The dessert selection is somewhat limited, but the Tiramisu tastes world-class. The prices are more than ok, for two people I have paid for food Pasta/Al forno and drinks, dessert and two Espressi 36 euros including neat tip. The espresso is, by the way, the best within 15 kilometres and here with us in the area there are some nobles and coffee bars... My conclusion: If you want to eat italian again and avoid the overcrowded nobles with overpriced prices, it is right here!"
