"that was a great place for a Sunday roast. we had a table right near the kitchen and it was fun to watch work and watch how fast they brought out all meals. the server were charismatic and knowledgeable about the history of the building and the menu. the eating was delicious, we had the hugging, booze and steak at our table and everyone had great things to say about it. they offered additional gravity to thrott everything too full if they want, but I prefer it as they serve it."

This pub, was absolutely divine. The food, atmosphere, and drinks were amazing. The service was one of a kind, staff and all always had a smile and were extremely friendly. The owner himself was an incredible individual. Very nice and respectful young man. I will definitely be back, and would recommend this pub to anyone.

We found this pub while staying with friends in the area, now we travel from SE London just for the food. The food is stunning!!! It’s top class 5*!! It’s a menu that changes so I couldn’t really recommend a particular dish but my favourites are the haddock and salmon roulade or the pork chop. The prices are unbelievably reasonable. Highly recommend this little gem.
