This, of course, awakens my critic's instinct that it is either a secret tip or an evaluation to be adjusted. Unfortunately, the latter was the case, but quite from the front: The Va Bene is located in a side street of the pedestrian zone, the access is absolutely barrier-free (even an automatic door is available), so ideal for wheelchair users if the toilets (which are also quite narrow) are located in the basement. Parking is available only the car parks etc. in the area. SERVICE: Here you can clearly see that in Uni-Städten, students like to be employed in the service, on the one hand, the training as well as the necessary cardiac blood go a bit. It took a while to notice and got my menu. Even when I chose it, it took some time until the young woman came to me again. She was sometimes busy with a conversation in the kitchen. She was the only force in the restaurant at noon, but that was also only sparsely occupied (the main business is going on here, in my knowledge, rather in the evening), but a professional would have been very different. She apologised and even wondered briefly during the meal if everything fits, but for a Va Bene it is not enough. It's still OK, so benevolent 3 stars. ESSEN: The menu is a wooden cladding with clamped leaves. The brochure shells are dispensed with, which is already for the environment, but the leaves were already very used and partly somewhat shredded. The menu is actually the business card of the kitchen, so you think your part best. The offer is somewhat confusing, there are lunch offers, a part of the map is only available from 14.00 (and indeed all the carving dishes, why always), then there is a happy hour from 16.30 to 18.00 and and and... The inconsistencies are then carried out on the back of the service. I chose a dish from the lunch card standing on a separate sheet of paper. Pigs from the grill with Western vegetables and potatoes. 8,90, a Cola 0.4 liter for 3,40 were called for. After a reasonable waiting period, my court came to the table. In principle, it was nicely dressed (but it would have been possible to dispense with the herbal deco, and it would rather be processed with a herbal butter, because: the meat was too dry on the border and a hint or a piece of herbal butter would not have harmed it (and if it had been only the one from the company M., at the price I would have let it go through). The vegetables were juicy and spicy, which had to be kept from the meat for moisturization. The hedges were also hairy at the border too much red staromas. For example, a Sour-Creme Dip would not have harmed them... In this sense it is a pity, because it is not enough for Bene. Just OK, so 3 stars. AMBIENTE: A long-drawn room, a bit gloomy, most simply let the pictures speak. I found it too dark for the day business (in winter it is dark enough), there is no natural daylight at any time, you could do a lot here. Okay, three stars. SAUBERKEIT: Everything was as clean as you can expect, even in the toilets, no hidden traces of dust, even if you look more closely (where the average guest does not look). This is Va Bene, four stars. PLV: 8,90 for a saturating main court without major defects are completely fine, much cheaper one cannot do it. But I can't get a real good because of the little things at dinner. So 3.5 stars. FAZIT: A return visit is not a question for me, and there are too many alternatives in Passau. The restaurant called Va Bene... enjoy with Friends , so good is different and friends we won't."
