"Absolutely delicious meal. The baked coconut and chilli Cromer crab starter was soooo good! Definitely recommend that one! Main meals were excellent and the vegetable sides accompanying were really really lovely too! We ate here for our tenth-anniversary meal with our two small children while camping locally for the weekend. There is no children's menu, but they can do fish goujons with chips, or various other options adapted from the adults' menu. The quality of the kids meals was great, although my two are going through a fussy stage so didn't eat much unfortunately. There was no good reason for this though, because my husband and I tried their meals and it was very good. We'd definitely return next time we're in the area!"

"We're new to the area on holiday. We found the restaurant on line before we came to Norfolk and decided to book Sunday lunch there before a trip on the broads. We had the roasts, lamb and beef. Both were equally good. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire delicious and veg exactly at the point where they're cooked properly and not hard to cut. The servers were friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Dessert was equally good. We are planning to return in the week. (Our only suggestion would be to deep clean the tables as they were a bit sticky)."

"Great experience here! Arrived with a group of 7 with no issues on Monday. Super friendly owner and staff members with a very positive atmosphere and comfortable clean restaurant. "Another review covering a couple of visits (July, September). We had been previous customers prior to these chaps taking it over, so were curious to see how the transition would have gone. No fears a great venue, and we 've had two really good meals here. On the first occasion, it was shortly after re launch, and there were a couple of 'stumbles ' with the order. However the lovely waitress absolutely owned them, and it was handled extremely professionally. The carpaccio and toasted sourdough bread was excellent; lemon sole from daily menu was small but very tasty; carrot cake and ice cream was fantastic. 2nd visit involved an excellent burger, which was just right in terms of size of plateful. Fish n chips was a little watery, but absolutely huge! We definitely have this on our repeat visit list and have recommended it to friends, who also had a great meal."
