It was great to visit again. I enjoyed a delicious lunch of liver and curry. The food exceeded my expectations and I was thrilled with how good it tasted.

We popped in half way through a long, wet, country walk. We were glad to see food was still being served. The landlady/ bar manager was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She gave xx us time to make decisions and was immediately on hand if we needed her. Great service! Food arrived and was delicious. Overall we were very impressed.

Yesterday, four of us, including our dog, went to this local pub and each ordered a different meal - Haddock, Lasagne, Mushroom Stroganoff, and Sausage and Mash. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The service was friendly and the drinks were good. It's nice that this is not a chain restaurant. They even offer Doggie dinners, so our furry friend was able to enjoy a meal as well. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This our first visit, to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive, the ale was excellent and perfectly served. The food was similarly excellent and very well present at a reasonable price. The chef is undoubtedly very skilled and even spontaneously added some extra decoration to our daughter's dessert in celebration of her birthday.
