chicken tasted like rubber, very cheap teriyaki sauce on chicken, rice and sushi.

The dishes we ordered were so small and so expensive The taste of the dishes is not so fantastic aswell Don't spend your money. We left starving and paid fortune. Not very happy

First visit to this restaurant and to a Japanese restaurant. Very friendly staff and had a selection of dishes to share. All the food was prepared cooked nicely and presented well. The food very fresh and tasted good. Meal was inexpensive.

Yama Yama is something we look forward to every time we visit London. From the sushi to the asparagus maki to the yaktori it is all of the best standard and we cannot find fault with it. Lily always provides the best service and I will be coming back very soon!

This small Japanese restaurant is run by a husband and wife team. The food is always excellent, cooked on an open grill in front of you. I have visited often and never had a bad meal. Their set lunch menu is excellent value for money. They also provide a take away service.

Visited this place on a Thursday evening. Very relaxed, nice atmosphere. Food was great, we had eel, gyoza, takoyaki and saporo beer. My partner lived in Japan and told me the food was very authentic Very fast, friendly service. Couldn't be happier as price came to £20 each :

Small, cosy, informal restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We had a variety of things and everything we had was very tasty and enjoyable. There's a good choice on the menu and the prices are reasonable. The staff were really sweet, friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next meal there.

Yama Yama is quite simply the best mid priced Japanese restaurant in North London. The menu looks too large and too difficult to do well but most items are small plates and the grill chef is a wizard. The maki gyozas and other non grill items magically appear from the back area, and they are always of a very high standard too. The service is also terrific. The lady even remembered what we ordered last time. The only thing to improve this place would be to allow a byo policy. Sumo’r for me please. I’ll get my coat.

We were stuck for something to eat and we fancied something different to our usual cuisine so we opted for Japanese. Picked this place based on the Google reviews and it was between this and Wagamamas. I am still shaking my head at this place.Relatively smallish restaurant with a chef on a grill just as you walk into the place. We ordered a couple of Yakitori's, an Asparagus, Ebi Tempura, Nabe Taki Udon and Chicken Katsu Curry. I ordered the Yakitoris because they were only £1.80 and when we received them, that is all that they were worth to be honest! About 3 small bits of chicken with onion.
