"We booked well in Advance for my Son's Birthday on 12th August. It was a very hot and busy day in the early days of reopening following Covid closures. Even allowing for this, the service was very poor. We were told some items weren't available 40 mins after our order was placed. Our main course didnt arrive until 2 hours after we were seated and the waitress didnt seem to know what the dishes were when they were delivered. We were missing rice side dishes that we had to ask for 3 times before they were delivered after others had already finished their meal. When the bill was delivered I asked for the service charge to be removed. The waitress laughed and either didnt understand or thought I was joking ! Given all of the above, the food was actually superb, its just a shame it was spoiled by poor service and no recognition that there was an issue let alone an appology. Two other parties walked out the night we were there."

Very decent, nicely cooked dishes. Maybe a tad pricy for what it is, but a very enjoyable meal.

Good food . Took a while as they were busy and contending with social distancing. I would suggest phoning ahead and ordering

Beautiful takeaway! Update 9 Oct 2020 Not sure what 's happened but this used to be my 'go to ' restaurant in the area. Just had a chicken masaman curry and it was quite underwhelming. Even the prawn crackers were soft. Hope they get back to their previous standard

I couldn't find this restaurant in Horning, as shown on the map, but the address gives the reason why; it's in Wroxham, well Hoveton actually. Surprised nobody appears to have picked this on reading the recent reviews. Don't let the run down decor put you off. The food is good with a choice of what you want with your Pad Choi for example. Prices keen and service prompt. Visualizza piatti

What a horrible experience. Thai dimsum came out raw to which they agreed to but didn't apoligise. A new batch came out and the waitress asked me to check them they were raw. After asking twice for another drink that did not come I decided we were going to leave as we didn't want to risk the chances of food poisening . I was asked to pay for my drinks before we left, but of a joke considering we were leaving because they gave us raw food. Honestly, it was like sitting in a doctor's surgery with no music or atmosphere. Good luck if your going to eat there, you'll need it .

We ordered a take away as we always liked this takeaway (before new management) the food came to £32 for two starters, two curries and one rice which is a lot but fine if it’s nice... but it wasn’t and we both had terrible stomach upset afterwards. Some of the food was undercooked, some was reheated and some was not as described as per the menu and was very watery. I sent and email off to express my disappointment and never even had a response or apology. They’re overpriced and obviously not hygienic. If you, like me, expect a decent meal for £32 and not to be very ill as a result of eating it, I strongly recommend you dine elsewhere.

"Booking was no trouble and parking was easy and well signed. Entrance fee was as expected. On arrival at the cafe we had to queue next to a sign that said the cafe was closed for a private party. It wasn't but it was facing the queue so appeared to be relevant although out of date. When we were seated it became obvious that we would have to queue again to order food, in the billowing and potent stench of the meaty barbecue for a good 15 minutes. As vegetarians this was not ideal but my mother, who is not vegetarian also found it almost unbearable too. When we reached the front of the queue the order was taken and then there was an odd arrangement where we had to wait to the side of the queue for drinks and then take a buzzer for the food. This strategy resulted in a long wait to order and an unfortunate safety issue for staff coming in and out of the kitchen who had to navigate the edge of a granite table, a queue of people and carry piles of plates. There was potential for something serious to go wrong at some stage but not our concern of course. There followed a lengthy wait for food. From being seated to the buzzer going off was an hour and we were not told of a delay on food on ordering. When the meals arrived, they were average with the flatbread being reheated from an earlier point in the day, very chewy and hard. We ordered 2 meals the same which arrived with quite different ingredients. The children's activity packs included with entry were brilliant to be honest and it was these that saved the day after such a long wait for food. The 2 tables next to us needed clearing and were not tended to until near the end of our meal. It was busy but not full to capacity at the time. I would recommend visiting hoveton hall, but it would be tricky to recommend the cafe unless the ordering and preparation system was reviewed. Will visit next year to see if anything has changed."
