"We spent 5 days in Ischia and visited Zelluso twice in that time. The food was excellent, the fresh local ingredients were allowed to shine through. The spaghetti vongole and spaghetti frutti di mare were amongst the best I’ve ever tasted. Fried anchovies were delicate and delicious and paired with a simple fresh tomato salad. The meatballs were succulent and moist and served in a mouthwatering tomato sauce. We had a half liter of local wine which was very good and went well with the food. The waiters were very attentive and food was served quickly. The atmosphere is typically Italian with the restaurant full of families and locals- this speaks volumes about the quality on offer. We were the only foreign tourists there. This place is a gem and well worth a visit if your staying around casamicciola."

Abbiamo visitato questo ristorante due volte. Semplice, design tradizionale, menu bello, buon gusto, pasti freschi. Il famoso coniglio è disponibile su prrorder.

If you’re looking for the best traditional food in Ischia then look no further from the bruschetta to the meatballs and pasta of the day with a side of friarielli everything was fantastic, the house wine was superb as well. If you come to Ischia you must try here you won’t regret it.

Posto moderato, non di fantasia affatto, ma il cibo era eccezionale. La gente del posto cenava qui, quindi se vuoi mangiare come la gente del posto, visita questa gemma nascosta. Il personale è amichevole, e se si impara un paio di parole italiane, saranno anche più amici. Raccomando al 100%.

Il locale è molto accogliente, con una famiglia speciale e molto simpatica. Abbiamo chiesto di essere serviti rapidamente a causa degli orari dei traghetti, e ci hanno subito aiutato. Abbiamo preso alcuni antipasti e 4 primi piatti. Tutto era buono e fresco, peccato solo per i prezzi un po' alti.

"Un ristorante un po' nascosto ma devo dire che lo chef fa bene il suo lavoro ed è questo che conta, é stato consigliato da una persona che avevo conosciuto occasionalmente in una struttura balneare della zona di Casamicciola e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti sia del cibo e della simpatia dei camerieri, prezzi in linea, complimenti!"

Probabilmente il miglior ristorante dell'isola. Il cibo era incredibile, il vino locale era incredibile e il servizio era incredibile. Un mucchio di persone è arrivate tra le 8.30 e le 9, quindi arrivate prima delle 8. Probabilmente uno dei preferiti tra i locali e assolutamente una gemma nascosta per i turisti. Visita questo posto e non te ne pentirai nemmeno per un secondo. Grazie mille.

Have visited here with family, after trying to find somewhere different to our usual places. The service was exceptional. Friendly but not over bearing. The food was just excellent. The pizza was one of the gear we’ve eaten and better than a lot that we have had in naples, the spaghetti alle vongole was so fresh, and the grilled squid was so tender. Locals eat here and you can see why. Amazing food.
