they must go there if they are looking for a traditional German restaurant with typical local food and the famous hessian eppel wine. they need a reservation. in summer they can sit in the courtyard.

we visited a Saturday night with a reservation. the personal was very friendly and the atmosphere great. typical frankfurt food at a decent price. much better than most of the tourist francfurt sachsenhausen and home aircraft. will return to sure.

Schnitzel and sauces have no taste, onions at the frying potatoes were burned. No comparison to the previous Wirt family Meyer. I was looking for local kitchen and found it. the suppe (actually a broth with teig) from the black forest region was tasty. the local sausage (made in restaurant) was good. the apple wine has a unique taste. the two types of calvados are excellent. the outside door, family seats were pleasant. the other guests were friendly as the staff.

The salad was cruel. corn, beans, red beet stripes from the can and only about 5 leaves of fresh green salad (at the prices a naughty). The Jägerschnitzel had very little frying potatoes, I had to share the Sosse with my accompaniment, hardly mushrooms in the Jägerschnitzelsosse and no cream (I love Jägerschnitzel but this includes a beautiful mushroom-seat with many mushrooms) and for this about 20€ are calculated. Just three. Salad from the can, barely mushrooms, barely roast potatoes, zero dahne but utopian prices. Never again. If this is typically hessic, I eat better in many rest places. Easy to find only Abzocke Parking: Very difficult to find a parking lot there
