A small room was added and on the first floor (I did not know until yesterday) another apartment with two small rooms. The beams hung so deep that my friend (185 cm) could hardly stand without bumps. I got a little dizzy with the slightly sloping ceilings and walls and we had to change the places on the small and assigned table at the door. Upstairs can also be 15 to 20 people. The guest room upstairs has a rough view through the thick arched beams and the deep ceiling. Wooden tables and partly inappropriate banquet chairs or wooden chairs were amazingly comfortable. On each table was a bright green table set. Also on the tables were a plastic flower in a simple white vase and simple salt and pepper shakers. The walls are painted light green or strongly red. The mix of old and new works here very well. The stairs to the guest room at the top are not completely harmless. The service was managed by three men, one is certainly the owner. I saw him here several times. The young man who led us was kind, spoke, fast and good at his work. The extremely heavy plates (logically, why here only men work, girls would hardly be able to carry three plates with food) were removed at the just abandoned table opposite us. Our drinks Coca Cola 0.3 l and a malt beer for together 4.40 € were well cooled. The cutlery is brought to dinner in a jug with simple white paper napkins and a good appetite is desired. The demand for us to taste the food was not gone and in general I felt good care. The only deduction is that there was no correct invoice. It was mounted manually on a block. Food and PLV and cleanliness The food is natural and the meat portions are large. From smallness to a huge selection of carvings there is everything here. Unfortunately, the background of the map is very colorful and this badly legible, which could occasionally be changed. I don't eat very long inspired carvings and usually someone else order a carving, try a few times and then can also get me through the next time. Today it should be for my heart leaf and I a hunter carving with fries / croquettes or roast potatoes and small salad supplement at 8.60 €. We were both hungry and the record, dead, armored animal should be happy. Unusually fast we reached the carving. I chose Pommes and my friend for potatoes. On the right side is quite large, well knocked scavenger, not triefing of fat. Appetite. Plus, crispy pommes. Unfortunately, the Bratkartoffel supplement with my friend was really small. Warm-saving starch supplements? I'll never explain that. For half a point. Add a small peel of unspectacular but fresh salad. Also on the plate, similar greenware that I have dared. Also a small, pretty saucer with the promising mushroom sauce. I tried and was done. Crispy, not too fat, delicate meat. I will. The Pommes should have been a bit more spicy, but they were also very good. The harmony of sauce with meat made me smile soulful, my friend praised me that I was eating slowly. You really can't eat cheaper and better in Göttingen. Beverage prices are also very guests-friendly. We paid for two carvings and two drinks €21.60 plus tip. It is nice that even larger families can go well here without saving it. The dishes and cutlery were clean and the tables were probably wiped, not for guilt. Conclusion No carving enthusiasts or friends of good-bourgeois cuisine come by. You sit a little cramped and of course original, but the super price, the great food and the friendly, fast service let me express an absolute recommendation!"
