"eating is very special and delicious. exotic flavor and many vegan dishes. the prices are high, but I think because it is a tourist place. but the service was not good at all. other customers had to wait more than 20min to get the bill (I even called the waiter for them because they never looked for us) and we also order for drinks. the other customers also went to the bank and wanted to pay, but the staff told them to go back and wait. but they waited for 20 minutes! we sat next to the door in their garden, but the staff never looked at us or asked if we needed something (we had to order). also 1 meal was so late that my other family almost finished there court. at the end I told them that, but it was apology that they were busy, etc. but if they are already busy now, they should better manage it or educate the personal the a few seconds to take care of the customers. I never had such a bad service in restaurant"

"Nur ca. 200 vom Bodensee entfernt, und damit fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Der Innenbereich leider eher einfach, nüchtern eingerichtet , einige wenige indische Elemente lockern den ansonsten eher fast schmucklosen Raum auf. Da es ein warmer ,sonniger  Mittag war, genoss ich meine Mittagspause im Biergarten des Lokals, auch hier wenig indische Atmosphäre zu spüren, glich eher einem bürgerlichen Wein, Biergarten  wie es sie zuhauf landauf , landab zu finden gibt.  Tische und Stühle z. T. zusammengewürfelt also beim Ambiente konnte hier nicht gepunktet werden, da besteht noch Nachbesserungsbedarf . Neben exotischen Säften und Cocktail , gibt es hier Köstlichkeiten aus den vielen unterschiedlichen Küchen dieses riesigen Landes. z.B. Thaligerichte, diverse Curries, Tandoori, Meeresfrüchte und allerlei vegetarisches . Bestellte mir Mango Lassi fruchtig , toll und herrlich erfrischend und Tandoori Mix Teller mit marinierten, gut gewürztem  Hähnchenfilet, leckerem zartem Lamm in Joghurtsauce,  Garnelen mit Ingwer und reichlich Knoblauch prima, dazu Salat mit Mangosauce exotisch und äußerst lecker , 3 Saucendips Ingwer, grünes Curry und Nussknoblauchdip alle sehr gut , sowie reichlich luftig leichten Basmatireis. Der freundliche unaufdringliche Service taten das seinige dazu , das ich mich trotz des bescheidenen Ambiente recht wohl fühlte."

"La Oliva was (and maybe is) my favorite restaurant in Radofzell but to be honest i am a bit disappointed from the last time i visited it. We ordered fish (bream) and the fish was almost raw and... unpeeled! As i can remember last year i had ordered the same exactly fish 'bream' and was perfect cooked with pealed skin. Obsiously the chef of kitchen in the last visit was not the same and the food in general was not same good as the previous times... At least the atmosphere remained nice... Im sorry for this review but i had many expectations from this restaurant based on the past...."

"We had reserved in the inn, but surprisingly the sun came, we decided spontaneously for the beer garden. It belongs to the restaurant and hotel. It has been built beautifully and with a lot of taste. The junior chief of the house accompanied us outside to the table and a young waitress (Namens Sonja) came immediately with the menu. The drinks were taken up sofot and were on the table immediately. When ordering the dishes incl. supplement exchange, everything went quickly without working. 2 x liter bottle of mineral water to a' 4,50 1 glass Hagnauer Müller-Thurgau to 5,50 The food Although senior and junior chief have understood the butcher's craft 3 of us chose fish. The fresh, daydraft was too tempting. And looked very tempting on the plates of the other guests. So we ordered: 2 x fennel cream soup to a' 3,90 2 x beef boillon with fresh herb leaves to a' 4,30 The soups came very fast, were hot and fresh homemade bread was served. The beef bouillon was strong and well seasoned. The vegetable soups are very tasty, of strong fennel taste and the right mix with cream. The soups deserve 5 stars. Then the supplemental salad plates came. This consisted of crunchy fresh carrots, radish, tomatoes, potato salad and leaf salad. Yarned with sprouts. The salad sauce was very similar to my taste, but was fresh and homemade. "This place has a wide variety to offer, from gluten-free chocolate cake to salad, quinoa and vegetarian dishes. Food is tasty and easily digested, one can taste that it's food prepared with good ingredients. Restaurant is cosy, even though in winter it is a little on the chilly side. It is a good place to meet with friends and chat over lunch and coffee. Outside is free space for little kids to run. They have limited seating outside. Beside the restaurant is a bookshop so older children can browse there if their parents' meals take longer to finish."
