"We visited here on the morning of the 9th of January for my birthday breakfast. As we normally do) I normally go for the create your own pancake stack, but I decided to go for a waffle this time. I went for the Dutch Waffle, this cost £7.69 and was topped with apple, sultanas, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, toffee sauce and cinnamon sugar. My boyfriend had a bbq omelette for £10.29, this contained pulled pork, crispy streaky bacon, jalapenos, grilled grated cheese and BBQ sauce.I had a birthday badge on and our waitress Lisa W, wished me a happy birthday. When the waffle was served by another lady, she also wished me happy birthday too. To my surprise there was a candle on the waffle! This was really sweet of them. When we were paying, Lisa asked if we had anything planned for the rest of the day. I told her we are going to the Spa and how we go to a different Centerparcs every year for my birthday. She was really sweet and seemed genuinely interested in talking to me. She also complimented me on my nails. For my drink I had a hot chocolate £3.59) and my boyfriend had a large pepsi max £3.09) The total bill came to £24.66.We never have a long wait to be seated here as we are a couple, and the place is mainly filled with families with younger children. Be advised that the Pancake House will be closed between 16th January and 24th February, they are having an extension built and there will be improvements made to the Boardwalk."

"We were a family group of 6 who had Sunday lunch recently. We have eaten here on many occasions and have found the food to be delicious and generous portions. The serving staff appear to be students; they were efficient, friendly and attentive which was great. Just a couple of observations, the hotel is quite traditional in its style which I love, but I do feel the conservatory needs an update. The cushions on some of the chairs have totally lost their padding so you could feel the base of the chair while sitting on it. One of the little tables wobbled so much that you put your drink on the table it was likely to tip over, we managed to find something to prop the table to prevent our drinks from tipping over. The flooring looks dated and this area could be updated inexpensively. The majority of our group had roast beef which was delicious, with lots of fresh vegetables, the portion sides were generous. A couple of the group ordered sticky toffee pudding but when it came it didn’t look like any sticky pudding we had ever tasted before, it was more like 2 slices of fruit cake, (it was served with ice cream). However I did eat it and it was nice but it tasted like fruit cake not sticky toffee pudding. This was a minor blip, all the other desserts my family had looked great and tasted great too. I would recommend the restaurant and I am sure we will return for lunch when we are next visiting the area."
