Kartoffeln kamen nicht und Salat war die Eisbergstücke mit nichts anderem. Da der Service unhöflich war, hatte ich Angst, das Thema Kartoffeln anzusprechen. Zum Glück wurde nicht dasselbe berechnet, obwohl die Rechnung insgesamt sehr salzig war. Vergleichbar mit 1 Street Tier Top Restaurants, in denen großartiger Service und gute italienische Küche geboten werden.Vielleicht konzentrieren sich die Orte nur auf Napolitaner, die ihre Heimat und ihr Essen aus ihrer Kindheit kennen, aber definitiv kann ich es weder Einheimischen, Touristen noch Geschäftsreisenden empfehlen."

Un assurdità che ci fatto sorridere, anche se in fondo lo stupore era più marcato: ma come? Lugano non vuole puntare sul turismo? non sapete che i tedeschi vanno pazzi per la panna?Pazienza, i miei ospiti chiedono dunque l'affogato al caffè senza panna... ma il giusto al caffè non ce l'hanno.... "This Restaurant is not far from where we live in Lugano. we love Japanese food and it has become for us the place to be when wanting to eat Suchis and Japanese. the quality is first class product...if you like Sashimi I have never encountered...any as fresh and so tasty as a starter. "We were so looking forward to having some wine and dinner here. We had a wonderful day on the lake and were hungry and hot and dinner here was high on our list. Unfortunately, we left almost angry, frustrated and very disappointed. Food: Dinner was amazing, the food excellent, the portions large and food comes out beautifully presented. We had the pasta with seafood, outstanding, the bruschetta, good and the fish carpaccio, very good. The wine selection was excellent and we let our waiter make our selections. However, the tables are really, really close together, we had three folks next to us that were loud, we could barely hear ourselves. The waiter could not reach us without bending over the next table. Service: Probably one of the worst services we have had. We arrived early and everything was good to start with. We ordered drinks and pasta for our daughter who was hungry. Everyone was happy. Then chaos ensued:1) Three folks who seemed to be "preferred" locals arrived and we never saw our waiter all night. It seemed that every person in the restaurant visited them to chat, but not once did they tend to us. After all why care about the tourist!2) Water or drinks were never refilled. 3) For its claim of vegetarian friendly, we found this completely lacking. They had one pasta with tomato sauce or the cheese plate on the menu. 4) My wife liked the bruschetta, and asked for the speck to be substituted for cheese. Easy right? They came back with plain bread topped with tomato, and the cheese plate. The waiter "rudely" informed us this is what they do. They expected us to pay for both although we did not ask for it. We left disappointed and angry. We walked over to another place close by for drinks and dessert. I cannot in all fairness recommend this restaurant."

Randbemerkung: das Grotto war nur zur Hälfte besetzt."

"I wanted to have lunch with my family. We were 7 people and wanted to share two tables. The woman didn't allow us to do that so we sat at two different tables. My father went to the toilet and heard the staff talking about us. We were there 1-2 hours ago and just had something to drink. He heard that one woman said that we would finally like to eat. We also had a boat to go to Lugano in 45 minutes. We politely asked if they could bring the food a little quicker for us. The woman said very unsympathetically: “I don’t know.” Very unpleasant experience. The view is great but the staff is horrible. Unfortunately I can only give 1 star but if I could I would give zero."

"Very nice hosts, making everything possible we wanted a table outside for three and due to Covid did not want to sit inside they moved a big table out). Very small menu card but everything tasted well. Do not forget to try a...semi dry vino blanco. "I have been to many restaurants around Lugano and have had good/bad and excellent food. This would fit in the excellent category. The interior is quirky and fun and very pleasant. Starter i had a pasta dish with Aubergines, absolutely wonderful!! Main the steak and...my partner had a seafood dish, both were very very tasty and so fresh. Dessert we both had the chocolate fondant with tabbacco ice cream, was so good i was close to ordering a second one. Wine was recommended by the head waiter, again well priced and very good. I am always back in Lugano and will be sure to visit here as this is one of the best in my opinion!"

"We had visited and stayed in Gstaad in May 2023. Being vegetarians and not adventurous with other cuisine, we preferred to eat in a restaurant serving Indian cuisine. We were told about Mango restaurant and visited it for lunch. Incidentally Mango is the ONLY Indian restaurant in Gstaad. We had a wonderful experience with great service and amazing food. The staff esp. Mr. Sahil, were very kind and helpful. We came to know about Bollywood tour arranged by the restaurant for a fee. Mr. Sahil took us on the tour and showed us all the places where Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge movie was shot, and also some of the other Hindi movies were shot like, Sannen station, the buildings in the parking lot, the famous bridge where Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol dance, and the church. The best part was Mr. Sahil had the movies downloaded and saved in his I Pad and could show us the corresponding scenery and the songs. It was an unforgettable experience. Later, for dinner we ordered food from Mango restaurant and it was delivered to the hotel where we were staying. We had a truly memorable experience! We strongly recommend those who visit Gstaad not to miss out on this experience of eating at the Mango restaurant!"

"We are schnitzels lover and a good schnitzel is one of our preferred dish. We arrived to Lugano very hungry, Following TripAdvisor good reviews we took a special taxi from our hotel to Schnitzy, we arrived at 16:00 pm. At this time the menu was limited for schnitzels only, salad and chips. The staff were very friendly and we had a very good feeling that we are going to enjoy. We ordered two schnitzels : Weiner (veal) and the big 350 gram pork. Both of our Schnitzy schnitzels looked big and impressive but that was all!!!Both were too thin with plywood texture and too much heavy dominate fried bread crumbs taste.The main point was the Weiner schnitzel which had an unpleasant aftertaste and bad smell, we could not eat it. (really low quality) The pork was eatable, the coating of the fried bread crumbs took over the taste of the thin meat. The lemon and the chips help alittle but it was far away from our expectation for juicy flavour good schnitzel. The real bad luck was after I ate 1/3 of this average pork schnitzel I have noticed that there is a human hair inside the coating. They apologies and deduct the cost from the bill. The chips and the salad were good. They are nice people and it's look that they are investing effort in their business, I really hope that they will improve themselves."

"Da wir nicht weit suchen wollten um unser Abendessen einzunehmen, haben wir uns entschieden im Restaurant Riviera zu essen (es gehört zum gleichnamigen Hotel).Die Einrichtung ist etwas kühl gehalten. Der Service ist dezent, zurückhaltend aber sehr kompetent. Wir haben uns für folgende Speisen entschieden: Meine Frau hat das 4-Gang-Menü genommen (Gemüsesuppe, Salat vom Buffet, Piccata milanese mit Safranrisotto und ein Himbeersorbee mit Schuss). Ich habe mich für eine Tessiner Fleischplatte mit Käse als Vorspeise und einem Osso Buco mit Safranrisotto entschieden. Einen guten Kaffee mit einem hauseigenen Grappe machte den Abschluss. Meine Tochter hat sich für den Riviera Burger mit Pommes und einen Coup Danmark entschieden.Die Speisen waren sehr gut. Geschmacklich, Grösse und Qualität. Abstrichte muss ich auf Wunsch meiner Tochter beim Burger machen, der war ihrer Meinung nach schlecht, d.h. es wurden 2 getoastete Brotscheiben genommen (normales Brot) und dazwischen das Fleisch mit etwas Salat und Tomaten). Pommes solala.Im Sommer auf der Seeterrasse ist es sicher auch noch viel besser. Tolle Aussicht.Wir können das Restaurant Riviera weiterempfehlen."
