"Absolutely disappointed beyond belief. Why even bother opening and advertising that they do food? We really should have walked straight back out the door upon entering. But we had read reviews and really wanted to try this place. The staff were disinterested. Pointed to a table where we were to sit for our evening meal. We were given what can only be described as filthy sticky pieces of paper that were supposed to represent a menu. The table was dirty and sticky with drink stains. Nevertheless we proceeded to order 3 main meals. Over an hour later we still had no food and not once did anyone come over to the table to explain why. The place was by no means busy. There were 4 tables with customers! After approximately an hour and 10 minutes we asked if there was a time that we could expect our food to be ready. Bearing in mind our order was for baby back ribs, a steak burger and a chicken skewer. So not overly complicated. We were told that there was only 1 chef working!. And that the manageress would go and check for us. She returned to say that food would be ready in 5 minutes. Approximately 10 minutes later the baby ribs and steak burger arrived. We had to wait a further 5 minutes for the chicken skewer meal. When it did arrive the chicken was cold and absolutely cremated. So much so that the chicken itself had started to disintegrate and a powder of charcoal remains were on the plate. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. Our entire party left all the food and we went to the bar to pay and left. Disgusted, disappointed, disillusioned and would NEVER RETURN"

"I went with my partner for Christmas dinner after b12, I received a text from them asked me to confirm to answer was £2 so I didn't bother when they knew we had booked and paid. the starter was a little strange. pictorial, that tasted bitter, I wasn't at all fan of it. then I had a canine ravioli as an appetizer, that was divine and I would fortunately have eaten much more than at all. then we had a herring, with an eastern European inheritance and my mother tried to eat me hering at several places, I knew I would not like to as it is not to my taste and I am especially about seafood, I tried a little and dislike it, my partner loved it and had mine too. we had a sorbet between the curses. the truthahn porn was all in order I didn't like the taste of the chipolata sausage, but my partner did that part was quite large with a lot of go veg, so was filling. for dessert I had the chocolate parfait that was beautiful and I enjoyed it, I didn't like the Beetroot ice cream that accompanied it, which was just strange. I think it could have worked if it had white chocolate in it or crumb with it, but on its own it did not work for me. the cheeses were a good choice and there was a black cheese that was particularly delicious. the service was police and efficient. overall we enjoyed the experience, there were some highlights like the rabbit ravioli, and the chocolate parrot, some things that were in order, and some things that were simply not on my taste. we would go back, yes I think we would and I would mainly go back when Hasen-Ravioli was on the menu."

"Booked for a surprise birthday meal with the family. Chose Giggles as had driven past many times, looked appealing and knew they host weddings on their grounds as such thought it was safe bet for a good meal! The Caribbean twist was also different which appealed. We went on a Sunday we all ordered different meals, the birthday boy man ordered a steak as a treat which was described as sirloin steak with all the trimmings and peppercorn sauce, I ordered a beef burger with cheese and father in law ordered the beef roast. Other family members opted for the carribean choices such as the curry goat and vegetable curry. The starters were lovely and we were looking forward to the mains. Sadly they were very disappointing. My burger tasted very cheap. It had gristle throughout and the burger bun was a dry sesame seed topped burger bap which fell apart when picking up the burger. There was Mayo and tomato ketchup inside it and the American cheese slice which I normally love, but altogether I honestly did not enjoy it. I would rather have eaten a McDonald’s quarter pounder! The coleslaw was watery cabbage and onion. My husbands steak, which he had ordered to be medium rare, was over cooked and very chewy. There was half a grilled tomato on top, some chips, some salad leaves and a pot of watery coleslaw. We had to ask for the peppercorn sauce which came out and did not taste peppery… my husband joked as he seasoned his food that he was just adding some pepper to his peppercorn sauce. I felt so bad as I had picked the place to eat!! we wondered where the other half of the tomato had gone and where the onion rings, mushrooms etc that you normally would get with a £19.50 steak had gone also. My sister in law and brother in law had the Caribbean options and they were positive about them. My father in law had the roast beef and again was very positive about this. So it is not all negative. Overall I would not recommend unless your whole party opts for a roast on a Sunday. The car wash there was brilliant. Did a very good job. Do have a nice play area for the kids so worth a Visit if you are just fancying an afternoon drink or light lunch with the family."
