"We stopped for lunch at this restaurant during our circular walk in Princes Risborough on the Mayday Bank Holiday Monday. It's not a day that the restaurant usually serves food, so we were grateful for the 3 hot main options available on the menu that day. The setting was pleasant, with friendly staff and a nice community atmosphere. However, it seemed like the landlady was cooking alone and it took a while for all of us to be served. I chose the more expensive chilli con carne, which was tasty but the portion was smaller compared to the cheaper panini options. Despite this, the meal was still enjoyable and probably better for my high cholesterol issues."

"We were in Hugh Wycombe to see our daughter, who is a student at BuckinghamShire New University, and had brought her grandparents with her. We went into the cafe when it opened at 9am and were welcomed in. There was relaxing music, books to borrow while you wait and the space was clean, tidy and airy. Our daughter had a light breakfast of pancakes which were made to order they were lovely and light; my wife had a Turkish mint tea, the rest of us had coffees and mocha and my parents had scones, which they said were also particularly nice. There was a selection of homemade cakes and baklawah, as well as gift sets, so we bought some of that to take away. Would definitely return next time we visit."

"My boyfriend and I moved into town recently, and since we discovered this place, we've been back almost every week. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating, and the beer selection is to die for! The pizzas are delicious (vegan and GF available), and the atmosphere is great, whether you want a chilled evening with your partner, or a fun night with friends. Could not recommend it more!"

"So from the pictures or from the outside of the pub it doesn't look like much or like the rooms would be nice. You will be pleasantly surprised. The room I had was spacious with a large wardrobe, dressing table and chair. Plus a lounge chair, nice bed oh and there is a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom was nice, it could maybe do with a more powerful shower head though. Both sets of staff from the evening and the morning were really nice and very helpful. I had one of the pizzas and garlic that they make and sell. It was delicious and it is something I would definitely recommend trying whilst staying there. The room includes breakfast which was also nice. They also cater for vegetarians and vegan. Which was great for me. I will definitely be staying here again."

"We have been going as a family for years, but the standard and quality of this place is now unrecognisable. The curry is so watery no thickness or flavour at all. We had to complain by calling back and they initially refused to do a refund. They suggested I drive back down, which is totally unacceptable. Had to wait 30 minutes in the store for the takeaway. Only when I asked the main manager did they check on it, to come back and provide no update. It’s lost all good customer service. This place used to be a star of Bourne end, but I’ll be sure to avoid."

"We visited with friends for a Sunday Roast, decided to go for the mix of 3 meats. We were very disappointed, not only we waited for the food for a long time but the food came out cold, not to mention the portion of meat was so small. On a plate I got 3 small pieces of cold meat, what looked like 1 big potato cut into 4 pieces, 1 Yorkshire pudding with a very dry stuffing. We told the waitress the meat was cold and she took it away only to bring it back only for us to find out it barely warm. At this point we were so hungry we decided to just eat it. The potatoes must have been put back into the oven as they were very hot but the outside skin was so hard my knife barely cut through it. The portion of food was so small that we decided to go eat somewhere else straight away after. On top of all this the door leading to the restaurant was kept on being open and shut loudly all the time by people coming in and out, literally the noise was so distracting and annoying, all it would take is for them to fit a overhead door closer. Definitely wont be back again. Parking: Small car park which was full so had to find parking on a street which was also almost full. "I recently visited Marmaris Kebab Pizza Burger shop, and I must say, I was blown away by the amazing service and food. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service that immediately made me feel welcome. I came in for a drink and it was a lot better than the local wetherspoons in my opinion because it's not as rowdy; in wetherspoons everyone is always shouting and it is not a nice atmosphere. "The food was exquisite and the chef needs to be recognised more in these reviews: she was incredible! However, the service not so. If the delay in serving the food is due to the chef making a culinary masterpiece, we didn't mind. However, when the sauce to my meal was literally dumped down beside my finished food plate without a sincere apology, that's down to the waiting staff. Drink orders were honoured swiftly, but our waitress appeared to be wholeheartedly disinterested in our satisfaction and more interested in just getting the job done (even once rolling her eyes at us as I dared to change my mind within seconds and also abruptly correcting my husbands pronunciation of a dish!! So in total: Incredible food, fabulous selection of food and wine, prices exceptionally reasonable for area (and the exquisite food!! Super atmosphere, service awful"

"This place is ALWAYS busy so be prepared to be in a noisy environment. If you don't mind that, their service is usually great, swift and unless you go at peak weekend times, you can usually get a seat. The food is pretty good. I love taking the banana bread or one of the sandwiches. Coffee is just ok, I wouldn't say it's brilliant. Overall really like this place, but would love if they had more space for it to feel less crowded and improved the coffee!"

"Sunday lunch with my girlfriend and foodie Daughter, having booked on Saturday evening, and being accommodated for lunch the next day was very much appreciated, thank you for that, my Daughters choice of roast would always be lamb and it’s so nice to see it on a menu nowadays and especially here and to be fair it was cooked to perfection as I also had it, the whole meal was cooked the same way, lovely nice choice of fresh vegetables and the best roast potatoes I have ever had outside of home, now that’s how you judge a roast dinner, am I not right readers? the food was outstanding, my girlfriend had the chicken and by the look of her plate, obviously enjoyed it and she doesn’t really like a roast, says it all, if it is cooked with love, it clearly shows on the plate, big thanks to all the kitchen staff my only criticism and the reason I didn’t give it a 5 was just down to a couple of younger members of serving staff, smile and look like you enjoy what your doing, even if your not, it doesn’t cost anything, a total opposite to the nice lady that greeted us on arrival, would I recommend it, ABSOLUTELY, will I be back? I wouldn’t go anywhere else in and around here for Sunday lunch."

"I had a great lunch today with my friend who lives nearby. The attentive waitress took care of us and described the menu options. We both had a Ciabatta sandwich and shared a side of chunky chips - which was enough for both of us. For dessert, we had the Apple and mixed berry crumble with custard, and it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back soon."

"the contribution kovid experience of clayton is fantastic. not overcrowded, and the terrace ambiente is excellent. they were super nice to our puppies with plates cold water, and the beer is somehow still fresh and cold after all the months. the ordering system is very appreciated by phone and fast, they were kind to help us get it thru. in the last days we were only warned at 12 o'clock the door and the service was great. eating is quite tasty add some cheddar to the chickenburgers, and get the chorizo with a side pint of estrella damm....so good. also enjoyed the garlic garnels."

"The food at this restaurant is enjoyable, but it is definitely overpriced and not worth the high prices they charge. The young waiter was very kind, polite, and helpful. However, the older man, who seemed to be the owner or manager, was extremely rude to the young waiter on multiple occasions in front of customers. This was disrespectful and embarrassing for the waiter, and should be addressed. Additionally, a service charge was added to the bill along with other items, so we would have been happy to leave a tip instead."

"I had ordered a strawberry indulge waffle and wrote in the restaurant notes that I did not want ice cream or chocolate sprinkles on my waffle as I am allergic. When my waffle arrived it had both ice cream and chocolate sprinkles on it. When...I rang up the shop, a very rude and ignorant man answered the phone and was almost judging me for not wanting to have ice cream or chocolate on my waffle. I then told him I was allergic and he was not trying to understand or help. He told me that there was no restaurant notes which there was as I have a screenshot of it. Due to this he was not trying to give me a refund or bring me the correct thing that I paid for and told me that there’s no point as the shop was shutting in minutes. he was very rude towards me and didn’t show any care and asked me to come to the shop if i wanted to sort this out. I just left it as he was being very ignorant towards me as a customer and Am very disappointed in this service. Please sort out your staff to know how to communicate to their customers and understand that different people have different preferences and allergies."

"Just had a fantastic Mother’s Day meal here. Staff were exceptional attentive, but not over bearing. Atmosphere was energetic, but not over crowded or manic. Food was simple and perfectly executed Rib of Beef especially recommended. Timings were really good, we did not feel rushed, but neither did we need to wait for anything. Over all very, very well done. We have had some very poor experiences the last few Mother’s Days, but you have restored our faith that restaurants can get Mother’s Day right AND make it look easy! We were all really impressed, you should all be very proud of yourselves!"

"I would give this terrible takeaway a zero if I could. The portions are tiny, the food is poorly cooked, and the fish and chips are overpriced and slimy. I was shocked by the quality. We ordered 2 small cod, a large cod, and haddock with chips and 4 drinks for £50. When we asked for ketchup, we were told to buy a pricey bottle. The staff were young and seemed to blame the pandemic for the poor service. I recommend going to Smiles in Beaconsfield instead, but be aware that they no longer offer sit-down dining.
