big village pub, good eating good beer. always ready to support the community, whether it be lunch or charity events. managed the way a local pub should be, supported by a big budding friendly staff. many a village is jealous of the black horse!

six hungry cyclists from london have grown up today and we have enjoyed all our meals and drinks. a very friendly reception and they could not do enough for us. this is a No-Frills real pub where it seems that quality counts. I wish that was my native!
