definitiw my favorite Italian restaurant in d’dorf. great (and beautiful) food with reasonable trips. if they had Italian beer, it would be 5 stars.

the food was delicious and although it might have taken a little long, there was a special element of feeling welcome and cared for. even if I could.

Aldo was outstanding delicious food. Visited for my birthday days in a row. Excellent service and food. Looking forward to going back again. Highly recommended did not disappoint

Now they have opened a wine bar next door. Accessible from original restaurant. Rustic decor. Great selection of italian wines. Food is perfect , delicious a must when in dusseldorf. Book in advance

I was staying at the nearby Holiday Inn and went walking armed with TripAdvisor to find a decent dinner venue. I was very happy to stumble across Aldo Genovese. I was seated adjacent to the kitchen and could see the food being prepared. I had...a delicious bruschetta and a spaghetti meal which was made with black truffle, and it was outstanding. This is a real find and I’d recommend it without hesitation

Since the restaurant has such good reviews I expected a lot. First problem was waiting more than an hour and they were not fully booked. Second the portion size i eat veal liver and as side dish I got potato, half of a small...carrot and two beans.... Bread they serve is so hard to eat and I gave up. Only up side is that the prepared meat was of excellent quality and prepared perfectly. But when you leave hungry.... and we had no will to order dessert since the wait time is so long

My husband and I had here last week as we were a weekend away in Dusseldorf. We booked this restaurant based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is not based in the Altstadt, so you mostly find locals in...the restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, and we had a good table. Next to other people, but certainly not cramped. The place is run by only Italian people, good sign! Food was delicious, we both had tortellini filled with asparagus off the specials borad and after that we had the scaloppini. Both very nice!
