"on a very pleasant sunny afternoon my wife and I just went over Scarborough south bay from holbeck hill and were looking for somewhere to eat. we stayed outside of alfresco and were pleasantly surprised by the varied menu and a series of good food...in the offer. we ordered two Ciabatta sandwiches, fight and a part of the rocky road, which we thought very cheap about £8.80 and went over the road in the peaseholme park. we found a sun bench and enjoyed a beautiful picnic. General fillings, nice well cooked food, it is a long time since we had sandwiches so good. that was Wednesday, 4th november, which began the day before the lockdown. we will live out this memory in the coming weeks and hope that the business will survive. we will certainly be back for more of this beautiful fayre."

Just discovered this little gem on re opening after lockdown. Beautiful sandwiches, BLT panini,was gorgeous. Breakfast baps lovely. Home cooked quiches, pies, lasagne, fresh salad, tempting cakes. All served with a smile and careful social distance. Thankyou, Coras, Scarborough

We’ve been here on previous visits to stock up on lunch for a day at the cricket and decided to revisit. This is a super family run establishment that offers a wide variety of freshly made sandwiches plus cakes and salads. Service is friendly which...never goes amiss. There’s always a queue but it’s definitely worth a little wait. It’s all good quality and reasonably priced, we’ll definitely be back again next year
